| Judul Artikel | “ANALYSIS OF INSTRUCTIONS IN ENGLISH TEXTBOOK ENTITLED “THE 21ST CENTURY ENGLISH FOR SMK” FOR GRADE 12 VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN TERMS OF COGNITIVE, AFFECTIVE, AND PSYCHOMOTOR DOMAINS” |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) relevansi antara instruksi dalam buku teks berjudul "The 21st Century English for SMK" untuk kelas 12 SMK dalam domain kognitif, (2) relevansi antara instruksi dalam buku teks berjudul "The 21st Century English for SMK" untuk kelas 12 SMK dalam domain afektif, (3) relevansi antara instruksi dalam buku teks berjudul "The 21st Century English for SMK" untuk kelas 12 SMK dalam domain psikomotorik. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi dan deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan observasi tabel checklist. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Buku Siswa Bahasa Inggris yang berjudul "The 21s Century English for SMK" untuk kelas 12 SMK. Untuk menganalisisnya, dilakukan melalui teknik: mengumpulkan data, mengklasifikasikan instruksi, mengidentifikasi domain, dan mengevaluasi level instruksi dari setiap domain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Buku ini berisi 123 instruksi dari 7 Bab, 45 instruksi relevan dengan domain kognitif, 30 instruksi relevan dengan domain afektif, dan 48 instruksi relevan dengan domain psikomotorik. Relevansi instruksi dalam buku teks ini adalah, pertama untuk domain kognitif, instruksi dalam buku teks dapat dikategorikan sebagai "High Order Thinking Skills" (HOTS) dan sesuai dengan kompetensi inti ke-2 (pengetahuan) dari kurikulum 2013. Untuk domain afektif, dikategorikan sebagai "Highest Level" dan sesuai dengan kompetensi inti ke-3 (emosional/sikap). Terakhir adalah hasil dari domain psikomotorik, yang sesuai dengan kompetensi inti ke-4 (Keterampilan) instruksi dalam buku teks ini dikategorikan sebagai "Simple”. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan kepada penulis buku untuk mengembangkan dan memperbaiki instruksi-instruksi yang ada di dalam buku ini, khususnya pada ranah psikomotorik agar bisa mencapai level complex. Peneliti berharap akan ada yang melanjutkan analisis soal-soal, visual grammar atau isinya. |

Inggris) | This study aimed to analyze: (1) the relevance between the instructions in the textbook entitled “The 21st Century English for SMK” for grade 12 vocational high school in terms of cognitive domain, (2) the relevance between the instructions in the textbook entitled “The 21st Century English for SMK” for grade 12 vocational high school in term of affective domain, (3) the relevance between the instructions in the textbook entitled “The 21st Century English for SMK” for grade 12 vocational high school in term of psychomotor domain. The study was a descriptive qualitative content analysis. For the data collection, the researcher used the observation checklist table. The subject of this study is English Student Book Entitled “The 21st Century English for SMK” for grade 12 vocational high school. To analyze, it was through the techniques of collecting the data, classifying the instructions, identifying the domain, and evaluating the level instructions of each domain. The results showed that: This book contains 123 instructions from 7 Chapters, 45 instructions are relevant to Cognitive domain, 30 instructions are relevant to Affective domain, and 48 instructions are relevant to Psychomotor domain. The relevancy of instructions in this textbook is that the cognitive domain categorized the instructions as “High Order Thinking Skills” (HOTS) in accordance with core competence 2 in 2013 curriculum. For Affective domain, the instructions are categorized as “Highest Level.” in accordance with core competence 3. The last is the result of Psychomotor domain, which is accordance with core competence 4, the instructions in this textbook are categorized as “Simple.” From the research findings, the researcher suggests the book writer increase and improve the instructions in this book, especially in the psychomotor domain. The researcher hopes there will be someone who continues to analyze the questions or the contents. |
