Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata L) merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman yang dipanen muda dan banyak diusahakan di daerah tropis. Peningkatan hasil jagung manis dapat dilakukan dengan cara pemupukan dan pengaturan jarak tanam. Pupuk yang digunakan berupa pupuk NZEO-SRPlus yaitu pupuk berbasis nitrogen yang dikembangkan dari bahan zeolit dan bahan alam lain dengan diperkaya oleh silika (Si) yang memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan efesiensi pupuk N serta meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman terhadap kondisi stres. Penanaman dengan jarak tanam bertujuan agar populasi tanaman mendapatkan bagian yang sama terhadap unsur hara yang diperlukan dan sinar matahari, dan memudahkan dalam pemeliharaan. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Desa Pliken Kecamatan Kembaran Kabupaten Banyumas, serta Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Laboratorium Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian berlangsung selama 3 bulan. Rancangan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk NZEO-SRPlus dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu D0: kontrol, D1: 50 Kg, 20%N, D2: 100 Kg, 20%N, D3: 150 Kg, 20%N, D4: 200 Kg, 20%N dan faktor kedua adalah jarak tanam yang terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu J1: jarak 75 x 20 cm dan J2: jarak 50 x 20 cm sehingga terdapat 10 (5 x 2) kombinasi perlakuan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi bobot segar tongkol berkelobot, bobot segar tongkol tanpa kelobot, panjang tongkol berkelobot, panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot, diameter tongkol, kehijauan daun, bobot segar brangkasan, bobot kering brangkasan, kandungan klorofil, kandungan prolin, dan kandungan gula total. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian perlakuan dosis pupuk NZEO- SRPlus berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel kehijauan daun, bobot segar brangkasan (kg), bobot kering brangkasan (kg), bobot tongkol berkelobot (g), panjang tongkol berkelobot (cm), panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot (cm), dan diameter tongkol (cm). Perlakuan jarak tanam dan interaksi antara dosis dan jarak tidak berpengaruh.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L) is a type of plant that is harvested young and widely cultivated in the tropics. Increasing the yield of sweet corn can be done by fertilizing and adjusting the spacing. The fertilizer used is NZEOSRPlus which is a nitrogen-based fertilizer developed from zeolite and other natural materials enriched with silica (Si) which has the ability to increase the efficiency of N fertilizer and increase plant resistance to stress conditions. Planting with spacing aims so that the plant population gets an equal share of the necessary nutrients and sunlight, and facilitates maintenance. The research was conducted in Pliken Village, Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency, Agronomy and Horticulture Laboratory, Soil Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The study lasted for 3 months. This study was conducted with a completely randomized block design (RAKL) consisting of 2 factors with 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of NZEO-SRPlus fertilizer which consists of 5 levels, namely D0: control, D1: 50 Kg, 20%N, D2: 100 Kg, 20%N, D3: 150 Kg, 20%N, D4: 200 Kg, 20%N and the second factor was the time of application of NZEO-SRPlus fertilizer which consisted of 2 levels, namely J1: 75 x 20 cm spacing and J2: 50 x 20 cm spacing so there are 10 (5 x 2) treatment combinations. The treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 30 experimental plots. Variables observed included fresh cob weight, fresh cob weight without husk, cob length, cob length without cob, cob diameter, greenness of leaves, fresh weight of stover, dry weight of cooking oil, chlorophyll content, proline content, and total sugar. The results showed that the NZEO-SRPlus fertilizer dose treatment had a significant effect on the variables of greenness of leaves, fresh weight of stover (kg), dry weight of stover (kg), cob weight with bark (g), long cob with husk (cm), long cob without cob (cm), and cob diameter (cm). The treatment of plant spacing and the interaction between dose and spacing had no significant effect.
