| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Usaha penggemukan di Saudagar Farm terdapat dua jenis komoditas ternak yang digemukan yaitu 245 ekor domba, dan 22 ekor sapi. Proses penggemukan dua komoditas yang berbeda tentunya memiliki perbedaan jika dilihat dari ekonomi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode survei, dan wawancara. Data primer diperoleh dengan cara wawancara kepada pemilik Saudagar Farm dengan berpedoman pada kuesioner dan pengamatan langsung. Hasil analisis ekonomi domba dan sapi yaitu modal yang dikeluarkan untuk ternak domba sebesar Rp 2.118.791.400,00 dan sapi sebesar Rp 2.209.704.000,00. Biaya operasional yang dikeluarkan untuk ternak domba sebesar Rp 262.836.032,00 dan sapi sebesar Rp 526.837.933,00. Laba yang didapat dari ternak domba sebesar Rp 76.917.968,00 dan sapi sebesar Rp 201.890.067,00 R/C domba 1,29 dan sapi 1,38. Rentabilitas usaha ternak domba 3,6%, dan ternak sapi 9,1%. Payback period pada usaha ternak domba selama 27,5 periode, dan sapi sebanyak 10,9 periode. Secara ekonomi pada usaha penggemukan domba dan sapi di Saudagar Farm telah efisien, dan memiliki keuntungan yang besar, sehingga layak untuk dilanjutkan.

The process of fattening two different commodities certainly has differences when viewed from the economy. The research was carried out using survey methods and interviews. Primary data was obtained by interviewing the Merchant Farm owner based on the questionnaire and direct observation. The results of the economic analysis of sheep and cattle are that the capital spent for sheep is Rp 2.118.791.400,00 and for cattle is Rp 2.209.704.000,00 Operational costs incurred for sheep livestock amounted to Rp 262,836,032.00 and cattle amounted to Rp 526.837.933,00Profits derived from sheep farming amounted to Rp76.917.968,00 and cattle amounted to Rp 201890.067,00 The R/C of sheep is 1.29 and that of cattle is 1.38. The profitability of sheep farming is 3.6%, and cattle is 9.1%. The payback period for sheep farming is 27.5 periods, and for cattle is 10.9 periods. Economically, the business of fattening sheep and cattle at Merchant Farm has been efficient, and has big profits, so it is feasible to continue.
