| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Bertani Untuk Negeri merupakan program kolaborasi antara Yayasan Edufarmers International dan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi dalam bidang peternakan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada September 2021 – Januari 2022. Tujuan magang Bertani Untuk Negeri adalah mendampingi peternak ayam broiler mitra PT Japfa Indonesia untuk mendapatkan indeks performa yang baik. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah peternak dampingan yang memiliki jenis kandang berbeda yaitu closed house dan open house. Prosedur yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan pengamatan, pengambilan data dan analisis. Data yang diambil adalah konsumsi pakan, bobot panen, FCR, mortalitas,dan umur pemeliharaan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari dua periode didapat FCR lebih unggul kandang closed house sebesar 6,96% dari kandang open house, mortalitas lebih unggul kandang closed house sebesar 37,59% dari kandang open house, dan indeks performa kandang closed house lebih unggul 12,39% dari kandang open house. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu indeks performa kandang closed house sebesar 347 lebih unggul dibandingkan kandang open house sebesar 304. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The Bertani Untuk Negeri (BUN) is the program colaborate between the Edufarmers International Foundation and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in the livestock sector. The program was carried out on September 2021 – Januari 2022. One of the goals in this activity is accompany breeders broiler partnership of PT Japfa Indonesia for producing good performance. The target of this activity is assisted breeders with two different type of cages, namely open house and closed house. The data taken are feed consumption, total haverst weight, FCR, mortality, and maintenance age. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that FCR on closed house cage will better 6,96% than open house cage, mortality on closed house cage will better 37,59% than open house cage, and the index performance on close house cage will better 12,39% than open house cage. The conclusion obtained is that the index performance of closed house cage is 347 superior to open house cage which is 304. |
