| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Kanker adalah salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang menjadi penyebab kematian di dunia. Dukungan sosial menjadi unsur penting untuk diberikan pada pasien kanker karena dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidup bagi pasien yang bersangkutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan dukungan sosial perawat terhadap kualitas hidup pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional study dengan analitik korelasi, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan purposive sampling yang berjumlah 61 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner EORTC QLQ C-30 untuk mengukur kualitas hidup dan kuesioner dukungan sosial perawat. Analisis data menggunakan uji Somers’d. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial perawat terhadap kualitas hidup pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi dengan nilai p value 0,311 (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: tidak terdapat hubungan antara dukungan sosial perawat terhadap kualitas hidup pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Cancer is one of the non-communicable diseases which is the cause of death in the world. Social support is an important element to be given to cancer patients because it can improve the welfare of the patient concerned. This study aims to analyze the relationship of nurses' social support to the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Methodology: This study was using a cross sectional study design with correlation analysis,subject was selected by using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling of 61 respondents. EORTC QLQ C-30 and nurse's social support instrument was used in this study. Data was analyzed with the Somers'd test. Results: The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the social support of nurses and the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy with p value 0,311 (p>0,05). Conclusion: There is no relationship between the social support of nurses on the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. |
