Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Kemajuan zaman dan pertambahan penduduk, memerlukan adanya pengembangan tanaman padi sebagai sumber pangan pokok yang dapat mencukupi kebutuhan baik dari segi produksi maupun kebutuhan nutrisinya. Upaya peningkatan produksi dilakukan dengan menyilangkan padi varietas IR36 dan Padi Merah PWR sehingga menghasilkan galur padi merah yang memiliki produktivitas tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh blok, mengetahui keragaman genetik dan heritabilitas karakter agronomi 6 genotip padi hasil persilangan padi merah dengan IR36.
Penelitian dilaksanakan dilahan sawah Desa Mersi, Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2021 sampai April 2022. Percobaan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode eksperimental, rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan satu faktor yaitu menggunakan 6 genotip padi hasil persilangan IR36 dengan Padi Merah PWR dan 2 varietas pembanding IR36 serta Padi Merah PWR yang terdiri atas 4 blok. Variabel penelitian yang diukur adalah umur berbunga, tinggi tanaman, panjang daun bendera,lebar daun bendera, anakan prouktif, panjang malai, bobot biji per malai, dan bobot 1000 biji. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendugaan keragaman genetik dan nilai heritabilitas arti luas.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa blok berpengaruh nyata tehadap umur berbunga, panjang daun bendera, anakan produktif panjang malai, jumlah gabah per malai, bobot gabah per malai, bobot 1000 biji dan umur panen, sebaliknya blok tidak berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman dan lebar daun bendera. Nilai koefisien keragaman genetik padi populasi F5 pada semua karakter agronomi yang diamati menunjukkan hasil < 20% sehingga keragaman genetik rendah. Nilai pendugaan heritabilitas arti luas dari karakter agronomi yang diamati menunjukkan nilai duga heritabilitas yang beragam. Nilai heritabilitas rendah ≤ 20% didapatkan pada panjang daun bendera (72,73%), anakan produktif (10,38%), bobot gabah per malai (15,81%), dan bobot 1000 biji(4,24%). Nilai heritabilitas sedang dengan nilai ≤ 50% didapatkan pada lebar daun bendera (28,79%) dan jumlah gabah per malai (36,97%). Nilai heritabilitas tinggi yaitu dengan nilai ≥ 50% didapatkan pada umur berbunga (72,73%), tinggi tanaman (73,70%), panjang malai (69,80%), dan umur panen (73,08%).

Inggris)The progress of the times and the increase in population, requires the development of rice plants as a source of staple food that can meet the needs both in terms of production and nutritional needs. Few people are interested in consuming brown rice because of its poor texture. Efforts to increase production to improve the texture of brown rice were carried out by crossing IR36 and PWR red rice varieties to produce red rice strains that have a fluffy texture.
The purpose of this study was to characterize, determine genetic diversity and heritability of agronomic characters of 6 rice genotypes from crossing red rice with IR36. The research was carried out in the rice fields of Mersi Village, East Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. The study was carried out from September 2021 to February 2022. The experiment was carried out using a Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) environmental design with one factor, namely using 6 genotypes of rice from crossing IR36 with PWR Red Rice and 2 comparison varieties IR36 and PWR Red Rice consisting of 4 block. The research variables measured were flowering age, plant height, flag leaf length, flag leaf width, productive tillers, panicle length, seed weight per panicle, and 1000 seed weight. Analysis of the data used in this study is the estimation of genetic diversity and broad heritability values.
The results of this study showed that blocks have a real effect on flowering life, flag leaf length, panicle length productive saplings, amount of grain per panicle, grain weight per panicle, weight of 1000 seeds and harvest age, otherwise the block has no real effect on plant height and flag leaf width..The value of the coefficient of genetic diversity of rice population F5 on all observed agronomic characters showed a yield of < 20% so that genetic diversity was low. The estimated value of heritability of the broad meaning of the observed agronomic character shows a mixed presumptive value of heritability. A low heritability value of ≤ 20% was obtained at the length of the flag leaf (72.73%), productive tillers (10.38%), grain weight per panicle (15.81%), and weight of 1000 seeds (4.24%). A moderate heritability value with a ≤ value of 50% was obtained at the width of the flag leaf (28.79%) and the amount of grain per panicle (36.97%). High heritability value, namely with a ≥ value of 50%, was obtained at flowering age (72.73%), plant height (73.70%), panicle length (69.80%), and harvest age (73.08%).
