| Judul Artikel | Pengaruh Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Pertumbuhan Penjualan, Aktivitas, dan Diversifikasi Usaha terhadap Struktur Modal |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, likuiditas, pertumbuhan penjualan, aktivitas, dan diversifikasi usaha terhadap struktur modal. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian merupakan sekunder yang menggunakan dokumentasi berupa laporan tahunan perusahaan yang dipublikasikan di situs BEI dan masing-masing perusahaan dari tahun 2016 hingga 2021. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI dalam sub sektor rokok sebanyak lima (5) perusahaan, sedangkan perusahaan sub sektor kosmetik dan keperluan rumah tangga sebanyak 12 (dua belas) perusahaan. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 8 (delapan) perusahaan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel. Asumsi klasik yang digunakan yaitu uji multikolinearitas dan uji heterokedastisitas. Pemilihan model regresi data panel melalui tiga uji, yaitu uji chow, uji hausman, dan uji langrange muptilier. Berdasarkan ketiga pengujian ini, model regresi yang paling sesuai yaitu fixed effect model. Hasil pada penelitian ini yaitu; (1) profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (2) likuiditas berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (3) pertumbuhan penjualan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (4) aktivitas perusahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (5) diversifikasi usaha berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Implikasi teoritis dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan referensi literasi tentang struktur modal terutama pecking order theory yang menyatakan bahwa preferensi penggunaan dana yang utama berasal dari modal internal yaitu laba ditahan perusahaan. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini dapat menambah informasi, wawasan, dan pengetahuan akuntansi khususnya akuntansi manajemen. Perusahaan perlu mempertimbangakan variabel profitabilitas, likuiditas, aktivitas, dan diversifikasi usaha yang mempengaruhi keputusan struktur modal dan calon investor juga perlu mempertimbangkan variabel tersebut sebelum menanamkan modalnya. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, growth sales, activity, and company diversification on capital structure. This researcher used the secondary data method uses a documentation which is annual report from 2016 to 2021. The population taken are 5 (five) companies of cigarette, 12 cosmetics, and household subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Sample in this studies as many as 8 companies that choose from purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique in this study used panel data regression model. Classical assumption in this research used multicollinearity test and heterokedastisity test. The panel data regression model was selected through three tests, that are Chow test, the Hausman test, and the Langrange multiplier test. Based on these test the most suitable regression model is fixed effect model. The results of this research explain that; (1) Profitability has significant negative effect on capital structure. (2) Liquidity has significant negative effect on capital structure, (3) Sales growth has an insignificant positive effect on capital structure, (4) Activity has a significant positive effect on capital structure, and (5) Company diversification has a significant negative effect on capital structure. The theory of implication in this research that academic researcher expected to increase literacy references about capital structure, especially the pecking order theory which states that the main preference for using funds comes from internal capital is retained earnings. Moreover, the results of this study can enhance information, insight, and accounting knowledge, especially management accounting. Companies need to consider the variables of profitability, liquidity, activity and business diversification because they affect capital structure decisions and prospective investors need to consider these variables before investing.
