| Judul Artikel | The Influence of Pergiene Care Applications toward Knowledge and Attitude Among Adolescent Girls about Perineal Hygiene in Preventing Vaginal Discharge |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Perineal hygiene adalah cara merawat dan menjaga kebersihan daerah genital guna menjaga kesehatan organ reproduksi. Faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kebersihan perineum adalah pengetahuan dan sikap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi pergiene care terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang perineal hygiene dalam pencegahan keputihan. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasy experiment pretest and posttest with control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan consecutive sampling. Jumlah sampel adalah 84 (42 masing-masing kelompok). Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah uji t berpasangan, uji wilcoxon, uji t independen dan uji mann-whitney. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan skor pengetahuan dan sikap pretest dan posttest pada kelompok intervensi (p=0,001). Pada kelompok kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan skor pengetahuan dan sikap pretest dan posttest (p>0,05). Hasil skor posttest pengetahuan dan sikap antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol masing-masing (p=0,001) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh aplikasi pergiene care terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja putri tentang perineal hygiene untuk mencegah keputihan. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Perineal hygiene is a way to treat and maintain the cleanliness of the genital area in order to preserve the health of reproductive organs. Factors that can improve perineal hygiene are knowledge and attitudes. This research was to determine the influence of pergiene care application toward knowledge and attitudes among adolescents about perineal hygiene in preventing vaginal discharge. Methods: This research used a quasy experimental pretest and posttest research design with a control group. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. The number of samples is 84 (42 each group). The analytical tests that used were the Paired t-test, wilcoxon test, independent t-test and mann-whitney u test. Results: There were differences in the pretest and posttest scores of knowledges and attitudes in intervention group (p=0.001). In the control group there was no difference in the pretest and posttest scores of knowledges and attitudes (p>0.05). The results of the knowledge and attitude posttest scores between the intervention and control groups respectively (p=0.001) which means there is a significant difference. Conclusion: There is an effect of pergiene care application toward knowledge and attitudes among adolescent girls about perineal hygiene to prevent vaginal discharge.
