| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh coronavirus baru yang secara cepat menyebar ke seluruh dunia. Akibatnya, terjadi peningkatan konsumsi suplemen kesehatan oleh mahasiswa selama pandemi COVID-19, peningkatan penggunaan suplemen kesehatan ini ditujukan untuk membantu meningkatkan imunitas dan menjaga daya tahan tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa Universitas Jenderal Soedirman terhadap penggunaan suplemen kesehatan dan hubungan antara karakteristik mahasiswa dengan skor pengetahuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimental dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan. Sebanyak 397 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dipilih menggunakan teknik quota sampling. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan diuji korelasi menggunakan uji Spearman. Tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap suplemen kesehatan yang termasuk dalam kategori baik 225 responden (56,7%), cukup baik 156 responden (39,3%) dan kurang baik sebanyak 16 responden (4,03%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin mahasiswa (p = 0,015) dan asal fakultas mahasiswa (p= 0,001) dengan skor pengetahuan mahasiswa. Sebanyak 56,7% Mahasiswa Universitas Jenderal Soediman memiliki pengetahuan yang baik terhadap suplemen kesehatan. Terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin (p=0,015) dan asal fakultas mahasiswa (p=0,001) dengan skor pengetahuan mahasiswa. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease caused by a new coronavirus that is rapidly spreading throughout the world. As a result, there has been an increase in the consumption of health supplements by students during the COVID-19 pandemic that intended to help increase and maintain the immunity. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of the use of health supplements and the correlation between the student characteristics and the level of knowledge of the use of health supplements. This research is a non-experimental study with a cross sectional approach. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. A total of 397 respondents who met the inclusion criteria were selected using the quota sampling technique. Data were analyzed descriptively and tested for correlation using the Spearman test. The data showed, 225 respondents (56.7%) had good knowledge about health supplements, 156 respondents (39.3%) had enough knowledge and 16 respondents (4.03%) had poor knowledge. The bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relatonship between the characteristics of the respondents including the student’s gender (p = 0.015) and the student’s faculties (p = 0.001) with the knowledge score. As many as 56.7% of Jenderal Soediman University students have good knowledge of health supplements. There is a relationship between gender (p=0.015) and student faculty origin (p=0.001) with student knowledge scores. |
