Latar Belakang. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan: 1). Mengetahui BEP dan Payback Period
usaha ayam niaga pedaging di Kabupaten Banyumas.; 2). Mengetahui dampak pandemi
Covid-19 terhadap BEP dan Payback Period usaha ayam niaga pedaging di Kabupaten
Banyumas. Metode penelitian yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode
survey, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara metode purposive sampling. Responden
pada penelitian ini berjumlah 40 peternak dengan kriteria usahanya minimal selama tiga
tahun dan merupakan usaha dengan pola kemitraan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada BEP produk, BEP harga, dan
Payback Period usaha ayam niaga pedaging di Kabupaten Banyumas. BEP produk pada masa
sebelum pandemi Covid-19 sebesar 1.690 kg, sedangkan pada saat pandemi Covid-19
sebesar 2.038 kg, BEP harga pada masa sebelum pandemi Covid-19 sebesar Rp. 15.893,
sedangkan BEP harga pada saat pandemi Covid-19 sebesar Rp. 18.313. Payback period pada
masa sebelum pandemi Covid-19 selama 25 periode, sedangkan pada saat pandemi Covid-19
selama 35 periode. Berdasarkan hasil uji t menunjukkan hasil untuk BEP produk berbeda
sangat nyata, BEP harga berbeda sangat nyata, dan untuk Payback Period berbeda tidak
nyata. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa BEP produk dan BEP harga pada masa pandemi
Covid-19 lebih tinggi dibandingkan masa sebelum pandemi Covid-19. Payback period pada
masa pandemi Covid-19 juga lebih lama dibandingkan masa sebelum pandemi Covid-19.

Background. This research has the following objectives: 1). Knowing the BEP and Payback
Period of commercial broiler business in Banyumas Regency; 2). Knowing the impact of the
Covid-19 pandemic on the BEP and Payback Period of the commercial broiler business in
Banyumas Regency. The research method used in this study is to use survey methods,
sampling techniques by means of purposive sampling method. Respondents in this study
amounted to 40 breeders with the criteria of a minimum business of three years and a
business with a partnership pattern. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the
Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on product BEP, price BEP, and the Payback Period of
commercial broiler businesses in Banyumas Regency. The product BEP before the Covid-19
pandemic was 1,690 kg, while during the Covid-19 pandemic it was 2,038 kg, the price BEP
before the Covid-19 pandemic was Rp. 15,893, while the price BEP during the Covid-19
pandemic was Rp. 18,313. The payback period before the Covid-19 pandemic was 25
periods, while during the Covid-19 pandemic it was 35 periods. Based on the results of the t
test, the results for the product BEP are highly significant, the price BEP is highly significant,
and the payback period is not significant. So it can be concluded that the product BEP and
price BEP during the Covid-19 pandemic were higher than the period before the Covid-19
pandemic. The payback period during the Covid-19 pandemic was also longer than before
the Covid-19 pandemic
