| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini membahas tentang perbandingan tiga prosedur uji nonparametrik k-sampel independen yang banyak dikenal, yaitu uji median diperluas, uji Kruskal-Wallis, dan uji Jonckheere-Terpstra. Perbandingan dilakukan berdasarkan nilai peluang melakukan kesalahan tipe I-nya, dengan menggunakan data yang dibangkitkan dari populasi berdistribusi seragam kontinu, T, F, dan lognormal, serta satu data nonparametrik yaitu data kecerahan langit malam di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji median diperluas lebih akurat digunakan untuk data yang berasal dari populasi berdistribusi F dan juga data nonparametrik, uji Kruskal-Wallis lebih akurat untuk data yang berasal dari populasi berdistribusi T, dan uji Jonckheere-Terpstra lebih akurat untuk data yang berasal dari populasi berdistribusi seragam kontinu dan lognormal. Sementara itu, secara keseluruhan uji Jonckheere-Terpstra lebih akurat dibandingkan uji median diperluas dan uji Kruskal-Wallis. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This paper presents a comparative study of three well-known nonparametric independent k-sample test procedures, namely the median extension test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, and the Jonckheere-Terpstra test. The comparison is based on the probability of commiting type I error, using data generated from populations with continuous uniform, T, F, and lognormal distributions, as well as one non-parametric data set, that is the night sky brightness data in Indonesia. The results of this study show that the median extension test is the best test for data from populations with the F distribution and also for nonparametric data, the Kruskal-Wallis test is the best test for data from populations with the T distribution, and the Jonckheere-Terpstra test is the best test for data that comes from a population with a continuous uniform and lognormal distribution. Overall, this paper discovered that the median extension test and the Kruskal-Wallis test are less reliable than the Jonckheere-Terpstra test. |
