| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul “Pengaruh suplementasi probiotik terhada jumlah eritrosit dan nilai hematokrit ayam niaga petelur”. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 23 Desember 2020-23 Februari 2021, di Eksperimental Farm dan Laboratorium Kesehatan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui suplementasi probiotik terhadap jumlah eritrosit dan nilai hematokrit ayam niaga petelur, serta mengetahui level suplementasi probiotik yang paling optimum terhadap peningkatan jumlah eritrosit dan nilai hematokrit. Materi penelitian menggunakan ayam niaga petelur strain Isa Brown umur 45 minggu sebanyak 80 ekor, kandang batere, tempat pakan dan minum, probiotik (promix), pakan ayam komersil periode produksi (jagung, bungkil kacang kedelai, corn gluten meal, tepung daging dan tulang, tepung ikan, pollard, dan lainnya) peralatan untuk pemeriksaan darah (kapas, alkohol, betadine, spuit 3cc, cooler box, tabung EDTA). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen dan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Setiap perlakuan menggunakan 20 ekor ayam yang terdiri dari 4 ekor ayam di setiap kandang di dalam satu ulangan dan dikalikan dengan 5 ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Brown-Forsythe. Perlakuan yang di uji coba yaitu P0 : 0%, P1 : 0,5%, P2 : 1%, dan P3 : 1,5%. Peubah yang diamati dalam penelitian adalah jumlah eritrosit dan nilai hematokrit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata jumlah eritrosit P0 : 2,662±0,551 Juta/µL, P1 : 3,106±0,508 Juta/µL, P2 : 2,312±0,076 Juta/µL, dan P3 : 2,532±0,361 Juta/µL. Rataan nilai hematokrit pada perlakuan P0 : 28,80±6,25%, P1 : 31,36±5,10%, P2 : 25,02±0,65%, dan P3 : 27,50±3,82%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi probiotik dengan level yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata P > 0,05 terhadap jumlah eritrosit dan nilai hematokrit. Hasil dari uji Brown-Forsythe pada eritrosit yaitu dengan signifikansi 0,065 sedangkan pada hematokrit signifikansinya 0,218. Suplementasi probiotik sampai dengan level 1,5% belum optimal meningkatkan jumlah eritrosit dan nilai hematokrit. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The study entitled "The effect of probiotic supplementation on the number of erythrocytes and the hematocrit value of laying hens". This research was conducted on 23rd December 2020 until 23rd January 2021.at the Experimental Farm and Animal Health Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Sudirman University. This study aims to determine the probiotic supplementation on the number of erythrocytes and the hematocrit value of laying hens, as well as to determine the optimum level of probiotic supplementation to increase the number of erythrocytes and the hematocrit value. The research material used 80 laying hens Isa Brown strain aged 45 weeks, battery cages, feed and drink containers, probiotics (promix), commercial chicken feed production period (corn, soybean meal, corn gluten meal, meat and bone meal, fish meal, pollard, etc.), equipment for blood tests (cotton, alcohol, betadine, 3cc syringe, cooler box). , EDTA tube). The study was conducted using an experimental method and using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. The data were analyzed using the Brown-Forsythe test. The treatments that were tested were P0 : 0%, P1 : 0.5%, P2 : 1%, and P3 : 1.5%. The variables observed in the study were the number of erythrocytes and the value of hematocrit. The results showed that the average number of erythrocytes was P0: 2.662±0.551 million/µL, P1: 3.106±0.508 million/µL, P2: 2.312±0.076 million/µL, and P3: 2.532±0.361 million/µL. The average hematocrit value in the treatment P0 : 28.80±6.25%, P1: 31.36±5.10%, P2: 25.02±0.65%, and P3: 27.50±3.82%. The results of the analysis showed that probiotic supplementation with different levels had no significant effect P > 0.05 on the number of erythrocytes and the hematocrit value. The results of the Brown-Forsythe test on erythrocytes were with a significance of 0.065 while for hematocrit the significance was 0.218.
