Indonesia) | Gastritis merupakan inflamasi pada mukosa lambung karena berbagai kondisi seperti NSAID aspirin ditandai dengan edema pada lapisan mukosa, dilatasi kapiler dan infiltrasi sel inflamasi neutrofil pada lapisan mukosa. Minyak kemiri (Aleurites moluccana L.) merupakan ramuan herbal yang digunakan pada masyarakat untuk penyakit gastritis dan secara ilmiah mampu mencegah terjadinya inflamasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek pemberian minyak kemiri (Aleurites moluccana L.) berbagai dosis terhadap gambaran histopatologi gaster tikus model gastritis yang diinduksi aspirin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan post test only with control group design. Dua puluh lima ekor tikus putih dibagi dalam 5 kelompok. Kelompok A: kontrol sehat (n=5), kelompok B: kontrol sakit (n=5), kelompok C, D dan E : kelompok perlakuan yang diberikan aspirin 600mg/KgBB selama 14 hari dan minyak kemiri dengan dosis berturut-turut 0,5, 1, dan 2 ml/200gBB selama 28 hari (n=5). Skoring histopatologi menggunakan skor Roger diukur setelah proses pemotongan organ dan pembuatan preparat histopatologi dengan pewarnaan Hematoxylin Eosin. Analisis data menggunakan uji One Way ANOVA. Hasil rerata skor Roger pada kelompok B memiliki hasil lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok A (p<0,05). Perbandingan dengan kelompok B, pada kelompok C, D, dan E memiliki nilai rerata skor Roger yang lebih kecil (p>0,05). Perbandingan dengan kelompok C dan D, kelompok E memiliki nilai rerata skor Roger paling rendah (p>0,05). Pemberian minyak kemiri (Aleurites moluccana L.) belum dapat memperbaiki gambaran histopatologi gaster tikus putih model gastritis yang diinduksi aspirin namun memiliki kecenderungan penurunan inflamasi dan defek epitel seiring dengan peningkatan dosis. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Gastritis is a condition that results from gastric mucosa inflammation, which can caused by various factors such as aspirin use. This leads to swelling mucosal layer, widened capillaries, and infiltration of inflammatory cells into the mucosal lining. The use of Kukui nut oil (Aleurites moluccana L.) as a herbal remedy has been observed in the community for its ability to prevent inflammation. A study was conducted to determine the effect of different doses of Kukui nut oil on the gastric histopathology of rats with aspirin-induced gastritis. The design was experimental with a post-test only control group design. 25 rats were divided into 5 groups: a healthy control group, a disease control group, and three treatment groups that received aspirin 600 mg/KgBB for 14 days and different doses of Kukui nut oil (0.5, 1, and 2ml/200gBB) for 28 days. Histopathological scoring using Roger's score with Hematoxylin Eosin staining histopathological preparations. The data was analyzed using One Way ANOVA. The results showed that the average Roger score in the disease control group was higher than that in the healthy control group (p<0.05). Comparison with the disease control group, the treatment groups had a smaller mean Roger score (p>0.05). Further, comparison with the first two treatment groups, the third treatment group had the lowest average Roger score. In conclusion, the study showed that kukui nut oil has not able to improve the gastric histopathological of the rats with aspirin-induced gastritis, but it has tendency to decrease inflammation and epithelial defects with increasing doses. |
