Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi galur ayam lokal dan feed additive terhadap jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu faktor A (galur ayam) dan faktor B (feed additive). Terdapat 12 perlakuan yang diujicobakan dan terdapat 4 kali ulangan. Sampel darah diambil dari 48 ekor ayam yang kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi (ANAVA). Hasil rataan jumlah eritrosit yaitu 2,4 ± 0,3 juta/µL. Hasil rataan kadar hemoglobin yang diperoleh yaitu 7,3 ± 0,4 g/dL. Hasil rataan nilai hematokrit yang diperoleh sebesar 23,3 ± 2,8 %. Hasil analisis variansi (ANAVA) menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara galur ayam lokal dan penambahan feed additive maupun masing-masing faktor berpengaruh tidak nyata (F hitung < F Tabel 0,05) terhadap jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit (P>0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah interaksi antara galur ayam lokal dengan feed additive belum mampu meningkatkan jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This research aims to determine the effect of the interaction of local chicken strains and feed additives on the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit. The research design used was a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) factorial pattern with 2 factors, namely factor A (chicken strain) and factor B (feed additive). There were 12 treatments tested and there were 4 repetition. Blood samples were taken from 48 chickens which were then examined for the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit. Data were analyzed using variance analysis (ANAVA). The average result of the number of erythrocytes is 2.4 ± 0.3 million / μL. Average result of hemoglobin levels obtained is 7.3 ± 0.4 g / dL. The average result of the hematocrit value obtained was 23.3 ± 2.8%. The results of the variance analysis (ANAVA) showed that the interaction between local chicken strains and the addition of feed additives and each factor had an unreal effect (F count < F Table 0.05) on the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit (P>0.05). The conclusion of this study is that the interaction between local chicken strains and feed additives has not been able to increase the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit.
