| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Padi merupakan tanaman pangan utama bagi lebih dari setengah penduduk dunia. Tingginya permintaan akan produk turunan padi, yaitu beras semakin meningkat. Hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan luas lahan sawah yang terus menurun. Salah satu solusi untuk menangani masalah penurunan lahan sawah adalah penggunaan lahan marginal seperti lahan pesisir sebagai lahan sawah. Tetapi, rendahnya unsur hara dan tingginya daya serap serta salinitas lahan pesisir membuat produktivitas padi lahan pesisir tidak sebesar lahan sawah pada umumnya sehingga pendapatan petani lebih rendah. Hal tersebut membuat petani mencari alternatif lain dalam memenuhi kebutuhan keluarganya. Sumber pendapatan ini dapat berasal dari off-farm maupun non-farm. Dengan adanya sumber pendapatan lain, hasil dari usahatani padi lahan pesisir menjadi tidak jelas, sehingga perlu diperhitungkan seberapa besar sebenarnya kontribusi usahatani padi lahan pesisir terhadap pendapatan keluarga petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan, R/C ratio, Break Even Point, total pendapatan keluarga, dan kontribusi untuk mengetahui seberapa besar biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan, kelayakan usahatani serta kontribusi usahatani padi lahan pesisir. Responden penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 34 responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya usahatani padi lahan pesisir sebesar Rp33.575.223/ha/tahun dengan penerimaan sebesar Rp50.616.060/ha/tahun maka didapat keuntungan sebesar Rp17.040.837/ha/tahun dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,5. Besar rata-rata pendapatan di luar usahatani padi lahan pesisir sebesar Rp13.417.843/tahun dan rata-rata pendapatan usahatani padi lahan pesisir sebesar Rp5.711.186 maka diketahui nilai kontribusi sebesar 30%. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Rice is the main food crop for more than half of the world's population. The high demand for rice derivative products, namely rice, is increasing. This is inversely proportional to the area of paddy fields which continues to decline. One solution to address the problem of decreasing paddy fields is the use of marginal land such as coastal land as paddy fields. However, low levels of nutrients and high absorption and salinity of coastal lands mean that rice productivity in coastal areas is not as large as that of paddy fields in general, resulting in lower farmer incomes. This makes farmer look for other alternatives to meet the needs of their families. This source of income can come from off-farm or non-farm. With other sources of income, the results of rice farming in coastal areas are unclear, so it is necessary to calculate how much rice farming contributes to the payment of farming families. This study uses an analysis of costs, revenues, income, R/C ratio, Break Even Point, total family income, and contribution to finding out how much the cost, revenue, income, feasibility of farming, and the gift of rice farming on coastal land. Respondents of this study, namely as many as 34 respondents were selected using a random sampling technique. The results showed that the cost of rice farming on coastal land was IDR33,575,223/ha/year with revenues of IDR50,616,060/ha/year, so a profit of IDR17,040,837/ha/year with an R/C ratio of 1.5 was obtained. The average income outside of coastal land rice farming is IDR13,417,843/year and the average income from coastal rice farming is IDR5,711,186, so it is known that the contribution value is 30%. |
