| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Sawi merupakan salah satu sayuran yang paling digemari masyarakat Indonesia. Berbagai upaya terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi sawi diantaranya yaitu melakukan perluasan areal tanam baru dengan memanfaatkan lahan marginal tercemar kadmium (Cd) dan pemanfaatan isolat bakteri resistan Cd dan memiliki kemampuan mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman (plant growth promoting rhizobacteria/PGPR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh isolat PGPR resistan Cd terhadap kandungan Cd tanah serta pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi pagoda. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Screenhouse Desa Kebanggan Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas pada bulan Februari-Mei 2022 serta analisis dilakukan di Wahana Laboratorium Semarang dan Laboratorium Agroekologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental berupa percobaan pot dengan perlakuan faktorial 2x4 yang disusun ke dalam rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah asal tanah yang terdiri dari tanah asal Desa Pesawahan dan tanah asal Desa Menganti. Faktor kedua adalah jenis isolat PGPR yang terdiri dari perlakuan tanpa isolat, isolat BR2, isolat CK2, dan isolat CL3. Variabel yang diamati meliputi kandungan Cd tanah, kandungan Cd tanaman, jumlah populasi bakteri, pH tanah, luas daun, bobot basah tanaman, dan kandungan klorofil. Data hasil percobaan dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam ANOVA kemudian uji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kesalahan 5% jika data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian isolat PGPR resistan Cd belum mampu menurunkan kandungan Cd tanah. Pemberian isolat PGPR resistan Cd mampu menurunkan kandungan Cd tanaman namun belum mampu meningkatkan luas daun, bobot basah tanaman, dan kandungan klorofil daun. Isolat PGPR resistan Cd terbaik ditunjukkan oleh isolat CL3 yakni memiliki kandungan Cd tanaman terendah 0,016 ppm.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Mustard is one of the most popular vegetables in Indonesia. Various efforts are continuously being carried out to increase mustard production, including the expansion of new plantations by utilizing marginal land contaminated with cadmium (Cd) and using bacterial isolates that are resistant to Cd and also plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPRs). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Cd-resistant PGPR isolates on soil Cd contents alongside the growth and yield of mustard plants. The research was conducted from February to May of 2022 at the Kebanggan Village screen house, Sumbang District, Banyumas regency. The analysis was carried out at the Semarang Wahana Laboratory and the Faculty of Agriculture at Jenderal Soedirman University’s Agroecology Laboratory. This is an experimental research in the form of a pot experiment with a 2x4 treatment that’s arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 iterations. The first factor is soil origin, namely soil from Pesawahan Village and soil from Menganti Village. The second factor is the type of PGPR isolate, without isolates application, BR2 isolate, CK2 isolate, and CL3 isolate. The variables observed includes soil Cd content, plant Cd content, total bacterial population, soil pH, leaf area, plant wet weight, and chlorophyll content. The data analysis was done using the ANOVA variant analysis, after which, Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was performed at 5% rate if data showed a significant effect. The result showed that the application of Cd-resistant PGPR has not been able to reduce soil Cd contents. The application of Cd-resistant PGPR isolates was able to reduce Cd content in plants but not been able to increased leaf area, plant wet weight, and chlorophyll content. The best Cd-resistant PGPR isolates was shown by CL3 isolates which has the lowest plant Cd content of 0,016 ppm.
