| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Populasi Yamaguchiella coerulescens di Pantai Selatan Yogyakarta yang diambil pada bulan November 2011 diketahui terdapat lebih dari satu cohort. Umumnya setiap jenis teritip memiliki morfometri opercular plates yang berbeda berdasarkan dimensi ukuran utuh cangkangnya (diameter/tinggi). Pada Yamaguchiella coerulescens yang mempunyai bentuk dan arah pertumbuhan tergum yang unik sangat menarik untuk diteliti morfometrinya pada pada cohort populasi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk: (1) mengetahui jumlah cohort populasi Yamaguchiella coerulescens yang berada di Pantai Selatan Yogyakarta; dan (2) mengetahui variasi morfometri opercular plates Yamaguchiella coerulescens antar cohort. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah perposive sampling. Pengamatan morfologis dilakukan hingga bulan Oktober 2012 di Laboratorium Pengajaran I Fakultas Biologi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Pada penelitian ini didapat dua cohort hasil analisis cluster yang menggunakan sofware PRIMER v5 yaitu cohort 1 (diameter antara 7-18mm) dan cohort 2 (diameter antara 22-47mm). Perbedaan opercular plates antara cohort 1 dan cohort 2 memiliki nilai dissimilarity sebesar 12,58%. Nilai similarity opercular plates cohort 1 sebesar 95,36%, sedangkan nilai similarity opercular plates cohort 2 sebesar 94,21%. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Yamaguchiella coerulescens population of Southern Shore of Yogyakarta collected in November 2011 composed of more than one cohorts. Each barnacle species generally having typical morphometry of opercular plates according to shell dimension (diameter/height). Yamaguchiella coerulescens which its tergum having typical shape and growth direction was interesting to be studied. This study aimed : (1) to determine the number of cohorts exist in the Yamaguchiella coerulescens population of Southern Shore of Yogyakarta, and (2) to compare the opercular plates morphometric of Yamaguchiella coerulescens among cohorts. Purposive sampling technique implemented in the field survey. The morphological observation was conducted until October 2012 in the Teaching Laboratory I, Faculty of Biology, Jenderal Soedirman University. Two cohorts discovered based on cluster analysis using PRIMER v5 software, cohort 1 (having diameter 7-18mm) and cohort 2 (having diameter 22-47mm). The dissimilarity of opercular plates morphometry of cohort 1 and cohort 2 is 12,58%. The similarity of opercular plates morphometry within cohort 1 is 95,36%, and cohort 2 is 94,21%. |
