Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh nilai keragaman genetik, nilai duga heritabilitas dan kemajuan genetik ukuran biji kedelai generasi M2 sebagai pertimbangan untuk seleksi lanjutan guna menunjang proses perakitan varietas unggul baru dengan ukuran biji besar. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok non faktorial dengan 6 genotip (Varietas Grobogan, Varietas Slamet, GS3, GS7, GS12 dan GS30) pada dosis 200 Gy. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, jumlah buku per tanaman, jumlah daun, laju jumlah daun, luas daun, umur tanaman berbunga, kadar klorofil daun, kerapatan stomata, umur panen, jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman, bobot 100 biji dan bobot kering tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keragaman genetik jumlah polong per tanaman masuk kriteria luas, sedangkan bobot biji per tanaman dan bobot 100 biji masuk kriteria sempit. Keragaman genetik jumlah daun dan laju jumlah daun masuk kriteria luas. Nilai duga heritabilitas jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman dan bobot 100 biji masuk kriteria sedang. Nilai duga heritabilitas tinggi diperoleh pada tinggi tanaman, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, jumlah buku per tanaman, jumlah daun, laju jumlah daun, luas daun, umur tanaman berbunga dan umur panen. Nilai kemajuan genetik jumlah polong per tanaman masuk kriteria tinggi, sedangkan bobot biji per tanaman dan bobot 100 biji masuk kriteria sedang. Laju pertumbuhan tanaman, jumlah buku pertanaman, jumlah daun, laju jumlah daun, umur tanaman berbunga dan kerapatan stomata memiliki kemajuan genetik tinggi. Jumlah polong per tanaman dapat dijadikan sebagai karakter seleksi untuk hasil yang tinggi, sehingga penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam kegiataan pemuliaan tanaman.

Inggris)This study aims to obtain the value of genetic diversity, the value of heritability guess and genetic progress of M2 generation seed size soybean as a consideration for further selection to support the assembly process of new superior varieties with large seed size. Experimental design used in the study is a randomized design of non factorial groups with 6 genotypes (varieties Grobogan, Slamet varieties, GS3, GS7, GS12 and GS30) at a dose of 200 Gy. The variables observed were plant height, plant growth rate, number of books per plant, number of leaves, leaf number rate, leaf area, flowering plant age, leaf chlorophyll content, stomatal density, harvest age, number of pods per plant, seed weight per plant, weight of 100 seeds and dry weight of plants. The results showed the genetic diversity of the number of pods per plant entered the broad criteria, while the weight of seeds per plant and the weight of 100 seeds entered the narrow criteria. Genetic diversity of the number of leaves and the rate of number of leaves entered the broad criteria. The estimated value of heritability of the number of pods per plant, seed weight per plant and the weight of 100 seeds entered the medium criteria. High heritability estimation value was obtained on plant height, plant growth rate, number of books per plant, number of leaves, rate of number of leaves, leaf area, flowering plant age and harvest age. The value of genetic progress the number of pods per plant entered the high criteria, while the weight of seeds per plant and the weight of 100 seeds entered the medium criteria. Plant growth rate, number of planting books, number of leaves, rate of number of leaves, age of flowering plants and stomatal density have high genetic progress. The number of pods per plant can be used as a selection character for high yields, so that this study contributes to plant breeding activities
