| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) menentukan karakter bakteri endofit secara biokimia (2) menentukan potensi bakteri endofit terbaik dalam mengendalikan R. solani, (3) mempelajari efektivitas bakteri endofit dalam mengendalikan hawar pelepah padi, (4) mempelajari efektivitas bakteri endofit dalam memacu pertumbuhan padi. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara in-vitro di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto dan in-planta di Rumah Kasa Desa Tambaksari Kidul, Kembaran, Banyumas. Pada bulan Desember 2021 sampai dengan Juni 2022. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pada uji in vitro dengan jumlah perlakuan yang diujikan sebanyak 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan dan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) uji in planta dengan jumlah perlakuan yang diujikan sebanyak 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan dengan 3 tanaman setiap perlakuan sehingga diperoleh 72 tanaman. Perlakuan meliputi kontrol x R. solani (P0), isolat bakteri A5 x R. solani (P1), isolat bakteri A6 x R. solani (P2), isolat bakteri KR4 x R. solani (P3), isolat bakteri KR7 x R. solani (P4) dan isolat bakteri SB3 x R. solani (P5). Hasil menunjukkan Isolat bakteri A5, A6, KR4, KR7, dan SB3 mampu menghasilkan hormon IAA, siderofor, enzim protease, dan melarutkan fosfat secara kualitatif. Semua perlakuan isolat bakteri endofit memiliki potensi yang sama dalam menghambat pertumbuhan jamur patogen R.solani. Perlakuan P1 (isolat A5) memiliki daya hambat tertinggi yaitu 63,38 % dan perlakuan P4 (isolat KR7) memiliki daya hambat terendah yaitu 46,55 %. Bakteri endofit pada perlakuan P2 (isolat A6) mampu mengendalikan hawar pelepah padi karena memiliki nilai intensitas penyakit serta nilai AUDPC terendah dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya yaitu sebesar 12,07% dengan efektivitas 63,43% dan AUDPC sebesar 215,31%.hari. Bakteri endofit pada perlakuan P3 (isolat KR4) secara in-planta dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan padi. |

Inggris) | The research aimed to (1) determine the biochemical character of endophytic bacteria, (2) determine the best potential for endophytic bacteria to control R. solani, (3) study the effectiveness of endophytic bacteria in controlling rice sheath blight, (4) study the effectiveness of endophytic bacteria in promoting the growth paddy. The research was carried out in vitro at the Plant Protection Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, and in-plant at the Screen house, Tambaksari Kidul Village, Kembaran, Banyumas. In December 2021 to June 2022. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) in vitro tests with a total of 6 treatments tested and 4 replications and a Randomized Block Design (RAK) which was tested at the plant with the number of treatments tested as many as 6 treatments and 4 replications with 3 plants for each treatment therefore 72 plants were obtained. The treatments included control x R. solani (P0), bacterial isolate A5 x R. solani (P1), bacterial isolate A6 x R. solani (P2), bacterial isolate KR4 x R. solani (P3), bacterial isolate KR7 x R. solani (P4) and bacterial isolates SB3 x R. solani (P5). The results showed that bacterial isolates A5, A6, KR4, KR7, and SB3 were able to produce IAA hormones, siderophores, protease enzymes, and dissolve phosphate qualitatively. All treatments of endophytic bacterial isolates had the same potential in inhibiting the growth of the pathogenic fungus R. solani. Treatment P1 (isolate A5) had the highest inhibitory power of 63.38% and treatment P4 (isolate KR7) had the lowest inhibition of 46.55%. endophytes in treatment P2 (isolate A6) were able to control rice sheath blight since it had a high value of disease and the lowest AUDPC value compared to other treatments, namely 12.07% with an effectiveness of 63.43% and AUDPC of 215.31%.day. Endophytic bacteria on P3 (KR4 isolate) in-plant treatment could increase rice growth. |
