| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Magang MBKM pada peternakan ayam broiler berlokasi di CV Unggas Mitra Sejahtera, Desa Sikasur Kecamatan Belik Kabupaten Pemalang Provinsi Jawa Tengah dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 21 Maret sampai 11 Juli 2022. Tujuan dari kegiatan magang MBKM adalah untuk mengetahui dan praktik dalam kegiatan usaha pemeliharaan ayam pedaging, kendala yang terjadi di lapangan, bersosialisasi dengan para praktisi, dan evaluasi terhadap hasil pemeliharaan untuk menjadi pelajaran pada periode berikutnya. Industri perunggasan khususnya ayam broiler memiliki prospek yang sangat menarik karena kebutuhan daging tiap tahunya di Indonesia terus meningkat. Keunggulan dari usaha ayam broiler yaitu masa produksi yang relatif singkat sekitar 32-36 hari, harga yang relatif lebih murah dari daging lain, dan permintaan pasar yang terus meningkat. Protein hewani juga menjadi kebutuhan yang sangat penting bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan hidup manusia dimana ayam broiler sebagai salah satu yang memenuhi kebutuhanya. Kandang yang digunakan CV Unggas Mitra Sejahtera yaitu kandang close house dengan luas kandang Kandang lantai 1 dan laintai 2, lantai kandang 1 dan lantai dua 2 luas kandang 1.200 m2, panjang kandang 72 meter, lebar kandang 8 meter, ketinggian kandang 2 meter, lantai 1 diisi sebanyak 7.500 ekor dan lantai 2 diisi sebanyak 7.500 ekor. Kandang lantai ke 3 luas 1760 m2, panjang kandang 110 meter, lebar 8 m tinggi 2 m dengan populasi ayam 11.000 ekor. Strain ayam broiler yang dipelihara di kandang CV Unggas Mitra Sejahtera yaitu strain cobb dengan bobot rata-rata DOC (hari 1) 37 g saat chick in. Saat DOC baru datang dilakukan pengecekan dengan sampling bobot badan, sampling jumlah DOC, cek kondisi kesehatan, tingkah laku, dan fisik. Fase pemeliharaan meliputi periode pre starter, starter dan finisher. Pre-starter berlangsung dari hari ke 1 - 7, fase starter dari hari ke 8 - 21, dan finisher dari hari ke 22 - panen. Kegiatan rutin harian yang dilakukan yaitu pengaturan suhu, mengukur kecepatan angin, kelembapan, pemberian pakan, vitamin, antibiotik, sampling harian berupa bobot, grading, kematian, dan penggiringan. Fase pre starter menggunakan pakan SB 12 super, fase starter menggunakan pakan SB 11 super, dan fase finisher menggunakan pakan SB 12 super. Antibiotik dan vitamin yang diberikan yaitu agricid, astresvit, agriminovit, sorbitol, dan agrixine solution. FCR yang didapatkan yaitu 1.77 dimana tergolong normal, nilai tersebut menunjukan konversi pakan diubah menjadi bobot badan pada ayam. IP yang diperoleh yaitu 281 yang tergolong baik menggunakan standar PT Ciomass. R/C yang diperoleh yaitu 0.13 yang artinya usaha tergolong tidak layak untuk dikembangkan ini terjadi dikarenakan kecelakan daya listrik lemah mengakibatkan kecepatan kipas menurun sehingga mortalitas tinggi. Rentabilitas yang diperoleh yaitu -2,31% dimana jelak. |

Inggris) | The MBKM internship at a broiler farm located at CV Unggas Mitra Sejahtera, Sikasur Village, Belik District, Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province was carried out from March 21 to July 11, 2022. The purpose of the MBKM internship is to find out and practice in broiler raising business activities, the constraints what happened in the field, socializing with practitioners, and evaluating the results of maintenance to become lessons in the next period. The poultry industry, especially broiler chickens, has very attractive prospects because the demand for meat in Indonesia continues to increase every year. The advantages of the broiler chicken business are the relatively short production period of around 32-36 days, the price is relatively cheaper than other meats, and the market demand continues to increase. Animal protein is also a very important requirement for the growth and development of human life where broiler chickens are one of the things that fulfill their needs. The cage used by CV Unggas Mitra Sejahtera is a close house cage with an area of the cage. The cage is on the 1st floor and on the 2nd floor, the floors of the cage 1 and the second floor, the area of the cage is 1,200 m2, the length of the cage is 72 meters, the width of the cage is 8 meters, the height of the cage is 2 meters, the first floor filled with as many as 7,500 heads and the 2nd floor filled with as many as 7,500 heads. The 3rd floor cage has an area of 1760 m2, a cage length of 110 meters, a width of 8 m and a height of 2 m with a population of 11,000 chickens. The broiler strain kept in the CV Unggas Mitra Sejahtera cage was the cobb strain with an average DOC weight (day 1) of 37 g when chick-in. When new DOCs arrive, they are checked by sampling their body weight, sampling the number of DOCs, checking their health, behavior and physical conditions. The maintenance phase includes the pre starter, starter and finisher periods. The pre-starter lasts from day 1 - 7, the starter phase from day 8 - 21, and the finisher from day 22 - harvest. Daily routine activities carried out include temperature control, measuring wind speed, humidity, feeding, vitamins, antibiotics, daily sampling in the form of weight, grading, death, and herding. The pre-starter phase uses SB 12 super feed, the starter phase uses SB 11 super feed, and the finisher phase uses SB 12 super feed. The antibiotics and vitamins given were agricid, asstresvit, agriminovit, sorbitol, and agrixine solution. The FCR obtained was 1.77 which was classified as normal, this value indicated that the feed conversion was converted into body weight in chickens. The IP obtained was 281 which was classified as good using the PT Ciomass standard. The R/C obtained is 0.13, which means that the business is classified as not feasible for development. This occurs due to accidents with weak electric power resulting in decreased fan speed resulting in high mortality. The profitability obtained is -2.31% which is clear. |
