| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui representasi tatemae-honne, ganbaru, dan bushido pada tokoh Saber dalam anime Fate/Zero karya Gen Urobuchi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan metode simak dan teknik catat. Teori yang digunakan adalah semiotika Fiske yang menggunakan level realitas, representasi, dan ideologi. Analisis dilakukan dengan menganalisis tanda-tanda yang tersembunyi dibalik adegan dan dialog dalam anime Fate/Zero yang melibatkan tokoh Saber dan diolah berdasarkan masing-masing level dalam semiotika Fiske. Pada level realitas, penelitian ini mengupas dari aspek penampilan, lingkungan, dan perilaku. Pada aspek representasi, analisis dilakukan baik dari kode teknis dan konvensional. Kemudian pada level ideologi, akan dianalisis ideologi bushido yang tergambarkan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa tatemae dan honne lebih banyak digunakan untuk menyikapi hubungan antara Saber dengan master-nya, yaitu Kiritsugu. Ganbaru difokuskan dalam cara Saber dalam menyikapi segala rintangan dan kesulitan dalam menghadapi Holy Grail War. Sementara, dalam melakukan tatemae-honne dan ganbaru, disaat yang bersamaan, Saber juga mempraktikkan delapan kode etik kesatria dalam bushido tanpa gagal. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this research were to determine the representation of tatemae-honne, ganbaru, and bushido on the Saber’s character in the Fate/zero anime by Gen Urobuchi. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique that have been used was observing method and note taking technique. The theory that been used were Fiske's semiotics which uses the level of reality, representation, and ideology. The analysis is done by analyzing the hidden signs behind the scenes and dialogues in the anime Fate/zero which involves Saber’s character and processed based on each level in Fiske's semiotics. At the reality level, this study examines the aspects of appearance, environment, and behavior. At the representation level, this study examines both technical and conventional codes. Then at the ideological level, the Bushido ideology will be analyzed. The results of the research explain that tatemae and honne are mostly used by her to deal with complicated relationship with Kiritsugu, which is her master. Ganbaru is focused on his way of dealing with all the obstacles and difficulties in the face of the holy grail war. Meanwhile, in the process of doing tatemae-honne and ganbaru, at the same time, Saber also practiced the chivalry codes of bushido without fail. |
