| Judul Artikel | SUPLEMENTASI BAWANG PUTIH (Allium sativum) DAN MINERAL ORGANIK DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PRODUKSI LEMAK DAN TOTAL SOLID SUSU KAMBING PERAH |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produksi lemak dan total solid susu kambing perah yang disuplementasi bawang putih (Allium sativum) dan mineral organik dalam pakan. Materi penelitian ini menggunakan 16 ekor kambing perah Saanen Peranakan Etawa (Sapera) dara yang berusia 1 tahun. Pakan yang diberikan berupa 70% hijauan dan 30% konsentrat, Cr 1,5 ppm, Se 0,3 ppm, Zn-Lysinate 40 ppm, 250 ppm bawang putih, preparat komersial (Rumensin 30 mg/kg BK), dan air minum. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Pakan yang diuji cobakan yaitu R0 sebagai pakan basal (70% hijauan + 30% konsentrat), R1 (pakan basal + rumensin 30 mg/kg BK ), R2 (pakan basal + 250 ppm bawang putih, R3 (R2 + Mineral Organik (0.3 ppm Se+1.5 ppm Cr+40 ppm Zn-lysinate) . Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi bawang putih (Allium sativum) dan mineral organik (Cr, Se dan Zn-Lysinate) pada pakan kambing perah berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi lemak susu kambing (P<0,05) dan produksi total solid susu kambing perah (P<0,05). Rataan produksi lemak susu menunjukkan perlakuan R3 merupakan produksi lemak susu tertinggi yaitu 58,02 ± 5,48 gr/ekor/hari dan perlakuan R1 menunjukkan produksi lemak susu terendah yaitu 43,41 ± 1,18 gr/ekor/hari. Rataan produksi total solid susu menunjukkan perlakuan R3 merupakan produksi total solid susu tertinggi yaitu 164,91 ± 22,64 gr/ekor/hari dan perlakuan R1 menunjukkan produksi total solid susu terendah yaitu 117,62 ± 0,45 gr/ekor/hari. |

Inggris) | This research aimed to determine the effect of garlic (Allium sativum) and organic minerals supplementation (Se, Cr and Zn) in feed on milk fat production and total milk solid production. The research material used for the study consisted of 16 Saanen Peranakan Ettawa (SAPERA) young female goats 1 years old. The feed provided were 70% forage and 30% concentrate, 1.5 ppm Cr, 0.3 ppm Se, 40 ppm Zn-Lysinate, 250 ppm garlic, commercial supplements (Rumensin 30 mg/kg DM), and drinking water. The research method is experimental using a completely randomized design(CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 repetitions. The experimental feed were R0 as basal feed (70% forage + 30% concentrate), R1 (basal feed + rumensin 30 mg/kg BK), R2 (basal feed + 250 ppm garlic, R3 (R2 + Organic Minerals (0.3 ppm Se+1.5 ppm Cr+40 ppm Zn-lysinate). The results of the analysis of variance showed that supplementation of garlic (Allium sativum) and organic minerals (Cr, Se and Zn-Lysinate) in dairy goat feed had significantly effect on goat milk fat production (P<0.05) and total solid production goat's milk (P<0.05). The average milk fat production showed that the R3 treatment was the highest milk fat production at 58.02 ± 5.48 g/head/day and the R1 treatment showed the lowest milk fat production at 43.41 ± 1.18 g/head/day. The average production of total milk solids showed that treatment R3 was the highest total milk solid production at 164.91 ± 22.64 g/head/day and treatment R1 showed the lowest total milk solid production at 117.62 ± 0.45 g/head/day.
