| Judul Artikel | Umur dan Jenis Kelamin Terhadap Kejadian Trematodiasis pada Ternak Kambing di Kecamatan Somagede Kabupaten Banyumas |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar belakang. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui kejadian trematodiasis ternak kambing pada tingkatan umur dan jenis kelamin yang berbeda di Kecamatan Somagede Kabupaten Banyumas. Uji sampel dilakukan di Laboratorium Kesehatan Ternak Tipe-B Purwokerto. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah peternak dan ternak kambing pedaging di Kecamatan Somagede Kabupaten Banyumas. Materi yang digunakan adalah 100 sampel feses kambing dengan pengambilan 5 gram/sampel. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dan purposive sampling. Metode untuk menentukan jenis cacing yang terdapat pada sampel feses yaitu uji sedimentasi. Uji sedimentasi dalam penelitian menggunakan larutan Methylen Blue 1%. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis Chi-Square. Hasil pemeriksaan sampel feses terdapat jenis cacing trematoda yang teridentifikasi yaitu Fasciola sp. dan Paramphistomum sp. Hasil pemeriksaan sampel feses diperoleh rata-rata ternak kambing yang terinfeksi adalah umur yang lebih dari 12 bulan dengan persentase 51,55% dan berjenis kelamin betina dengan persentase 55,55% dari 27 sampel feses yang terinfeksi. Tingkat kejadian trematodiasis di Kecamatan Somagede diperoleh persentase 27% dari 100 sampel feses yang diambil. Kata Kunci: umur, jenis kelamin, trematodiasis, kambing, Somagede. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background. The study was conducted to determine the incidence of trematodiasis in goats at different age and gender levels in Somagede District, Banyumas Regency. The sample test was carried out at the Purwokerto Type-B Livestock Health Laboratory. The target of this research is beef cattle breeders and livestock in Somagede District, Banyumas Regency. The target of this research is cattle breeders and goats in Somagede District, Banyumas Regency. The material used is 100 samples of goat feces by taking 5 grams/sample. The method used is survey method and purposive sampling. The method to determine the type of worms contained in the stool sample is the sedimentation test. The sedimentation test in this study used 1% Methylene Blue solution. Data analysis using Chi-Square analysis. The results of the examination of the faecal samples showed that the trematode worms were Fasciola sp. and Paramphistomum sp. The results of the examination of feces samples obtained that the average infected goats were aged more than 12 months with a proportion of 51.55% and female with a percentage of 55.55% of 27 infected faecal samples. The incidence rate of trematodaiasis in Somagede District obtained a percentage of 27% of the 100 stool samples taken. Keywords: age, gender, trematodiasis, goats, Somagede. |
