Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Kecamatan Grabag merupakan sentra penghasil cabai rawit merah di Kabupaten Purworejo. Sebagai daerah penghasil cabai rawit merah fluktuasi harga sering terjadi di tingkat konsumen akhir dan pada kondisi tertentu harga di tingkat petani sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis pola saluran pemasaran cabai rawit merah di Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Purworejo (2) mengetahui besarnya farmer share cabai rawit merah pada masing-masing saluran pemasaran di Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Purworejo (3) mengetahui besarnya margin pemasaran cabai rawit merah pada masing-masing saluran pemasaran di Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Purworejo (4) mengetahui besarnya rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya pemasaran cabai rawit merah pada masing-masing saluran di Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Purworejo.
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai April 2022. Obyek pada penelitian ini adalah pola saluran pemasaran dan kinerja saluran pemasaran. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode snowball dan diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 orang petani, 6 pedagang tengkulak, 5 pedagang besar dan 9 pedagang eceran. Hasil pengumpulan data ditabulasi dan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan farmer share, margin pemasaran dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya pemasaran cabai rawit merah.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 saluran pemasaran yang dilalui pemasaran cabai rawit merah di Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Purworejo, yaitu saluran pemasaran 1 : Petani → Pedagang tengkulak → pedagang besar luar daerah → Pedagang pengecer- Konsumen, Saluran pemasaran 2 : Petani → Konsumen, Saluran pemasaran 3 : Petani → Pedagang tengkulak → Pedagang eceran → konsumen, Saluran pemasaran 4 : Petani → Pedagang pengecer → konsumen. Kinerja saluran pemasaran cabai rawit merah di Kecamatan Grabag ditinjau dari farmer share pada saluran pertama sebesar 76,80 persen, saluran kedua sebesar 100 persen, saluran ketiga sebesar 80,24 persen dan saluran keempat 88,8 persen. Total margin pemasaran cabai rawit merah di Kecamatan Grabag pada saluran pemasaran pertama sebesar Rp6.361,00 per kilogram, saluran pemasaran kedua 0, saluran pemasaran ketiga sebesar Rp5.649,00 per kilogram dan saluran pemasaran keempat sebesar Rp3.000,00 per kilogram. Rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya pemasaran cabai rawit merah di Kecamatan Grabag pada saluran pertama sebesar 1,55, saluran pemasaran kedua 0, saluran pemasaran ketiga sebesar 2,99 dan saluran keempat sebesar 2,42.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Grabag District was the center of red chili production in Purworejo Regency. As an area with red chili production, price fluctuations occur at the final consumer level and under certain conditions the price was very low at the farmer level. The objectives of this study were (1) to analyze the pattern of marketing channels for red chili peppers in Grabag Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency (2) to determine the amount of red chili pepper in each marketing channel in Grabag Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency (3) to determine the marketing margin of each red chili pepper. marketing channels in Grabag Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency (4) to determinate the amount of profit to cost ratio of marketing red chili peppers for each channel in Grabag Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency.
This research method has used the survey method and has been implementation on March until April, 2022. The object of this research was the pattern of marketing channels and the performance of marketing channels. Sampling using the snowball method and obtained a total sample of 30 farmers, 6 middlemen, 5 wholesalers and 9 retail traders. The results of data collection were tabulated and analyzed using a farmer approach, marketing margins, and the ratio of profit to marketing costs of red chili.
The results of research show that there were 4 marketing channels through which red chilies are marketed in Grabag Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency, namely marketing channel 1: farmers → middlemen traders → wholesalers outside the area → retailers → consumers, marketing channel 2: farmers → consumers, marketing channel 3: farmers → middlemen → retailers → consumers, marketing channel 4: farmers → retailers → consumers. The performance of the red chili marketing channel in Grabag District in terms of farmer share in the first channel was 76.80 percent, the second channel was 100 percent, the third channel was 80.24 percent and the fourth channel was 88.8 percent. The total marketing margin of red cayenne pepper in Grabag District in the first marketing channel was Rp6,361,00 per kilogram, the second marketing channel was 0, the third marketing channel was Rp5,649,00 per kilogram and the fourth marketing channel was Rp3,000,00 per kilogram. The profit-to-cost ratio of marketing red chili in Grabag District in the first channel was 1.55, the second marketing channel was 0, the third marketing channel was 2.99 and the fourth channel was 2.42
