Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Pupuk slow release adalah pupuk yang tersedia lambat dan secara perlahan dapat
menyediakan hara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tanaman. Pupuk NZEO-SR yang
dikembangkan menjadi NZEO-SR Plus yaitu dengan diperkaya Si yang berasal dari
sekam padi dan modifikasi teknologi coating nano-zeolite dan bahan humat. Tujuan dari
dilaksanakannya penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis dan waktu
pemberian pupuk NZEO-SR Plus terhadap karakteristik fisiologis dan hasil tanaman
jagung kristal, memperoleh dosis dan waktu pemberian terbaik pupuk NZEO-SR Plus
terhadap karakteristik fisiologis dan hasil tanaman jagung kristal, dan mengetahui
pengaruh interaksi aplikasi dosis dan waktu pemberian pupuk NZEO-SR Plus terhadap
karakteristik fisiologis dan hasil tanaman jagung kristal. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari
bulan November 2021 sampai dengan Maret 2022 di lahan Experimental Farm Fakultas
Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan
adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap. Data dianalisis dengan uji F, apabila
hasilnya beda nyata dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada
taraf α = 5%. Variabel yang diamati adalah kehijauan daun, klorofil a dan b, kandungan
prolin, diameter tongkol berkelobot, panjang tongkol dengan kelobot dan tanpa kelobot,
jumlah baris biji per tongkol, bobot 1000 biji, bobot biji kering per hektar. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk NZEO-SR Plus 750 kg/ha (setara 150 kg
N/ha) memberikan hasil yang optimal pada kehijauan daun, diameter tongkol
berkelobot, bobot 1000 biji, dan bobot biji kering per hektar. Waktu pemberian 2 kali
pada saat tanaman umur 5 hari setelah tanam (50%) dan umur 30 hari (50%)
menunjukkan hasil lebih baik terhadap kehijauan daun dibandingkan waktu pemberian 1
kali (100%) pada saat tanaman umur 5 hari.

nutrients to meet plant needs. The NZEO-SR fertilizer which was developed into NZEOSR
Plus is enriched with Si derived from rice husks and modified nano-zeolite coating
technology and humic materials. The purpose of the research was to determine the
effect of the dose and timing of NZEO-SR Plus fertilizer on the physiological
characteristics and yield of crystal corn plants, obtain the best dose and timing of
NZEO-SR Plus fertilizer application on the physiological characteristics and yields of
crystal corn plants, and determine the effect of the interaction. application of dose and

corn. The research was carried out from November 2021 to March 2022 on the
Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Sudirman University. The
experimental design used was Completely Randomized Block Design. The data were
analyzed by the F test, if the results were significantly different, the Duncan's Multiple
Range Test (DMRT) further test was carried out at the level of = 5%. Variables
observed were leaf greenness, chlorophyll a and b, proline content, diameter of cob
cob, length of cob with and without grain, number of rows of seeds per ear, weight of
1000 seeds, weight of dry seeds per hectare. The results showed that the NZEO-SR Plus
fertilizer dose of 750 kg/ha (equivalent to 150 kg N/ha) gave optimal results on leaf
greenness, cob diameter, 1000 seed weight, and dry seed weight per hectare. The time
of giving 2 times when the plants were 5 days after planting (50%) and the age of 30
days (50%) showed better results on greenery of the leaves than the time of giving 1
time (100%) when the plants were 5 days old.
