| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Mewabahnya virus Covid-19 di Indonesia memberi kesempatan banyak orang untuk meraup keuntungan. Salah satu bisnis yang menjamur di Indonesia adalah banyak bermunculannya laboratorium tes usap Covid-19. Kemunculan laboratorium tersebut seiring dengan kebijakan penyertaan hasil bebas Covid-19 bagi masyarakat yang hendak memasuki ruang publik atau berpergian jauh. Laporan Tempo pada Bulan November 2021 menyebut adanya afiliasi dua menteri negara, Erick Thohir dan Luhut Panjaitan, dengan salah satu perusahaan tes deteksi Covid-19, GSI Lab. Laporan tersebut membuat media massa lainnya ikut meliput pemberitaan polemik tersebut termasuk Republika Online. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menemukan bagaimana perbedaan cara pandang dua media massa, koran Tempo dan Republika Online, dalam isu yang sama melalui framing media. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis framing Robert Entman dengan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat interpretatif. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan koran Tempo memiliki bias kecendrungan mengkritik pemerintah dan pejabat yang terlibat sementara Republika Online memiliki bias pembelaan kepada pemerintah yang lebih terkhusus kepada Erick Thohir. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia has given many people the opportunity to gaining profit. One of the businesses that are blooming in Indonesia is that many Covid-19 swab test laboratories have sprung up. The emergence of the laboratory is in line with the policy for the addition of Covid-19-free results for people who want to enter public spaces or travel long distances. Tempo’s report in November 2021 stated that there were two state ministers, Erick Thohir and Luhut Panjaitan, affiliated with Covid-19 detection test companies, GSI Lab. The report prompted other mass media to cover the polemic, including Republika Online. This study aims to find out how the perspectives of the two mass media, koran Tempo and Republika Online, differ on the same issue through media framing. This research methodology uses Robert Entman's framing analysis method by using the constructivist paradigm. This type of research is a qualitative interpretative research. In this study, there is a tendency for koran Tempo to criticize the government and the elites who involved in the entire polemic, while Republika Online, in the other hand, is biased in defense of the government, which is more specifically to Erick Thohir. |
