Judul ArtikelSUPLEMENTASI BAWANG PUTIH (Allium sativum) DAN MINERAL ORGANIK TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KECERNAAN BAHAN KERING DAN BAHAN ORGANIK PAKAN KAMBING PERAH SAANEN PERANAKAN ETAWA (SAPERA)
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi bawang putih (Allium sativum) dan mineral organik (Cr, Se dan Zn – Lysinate) terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara in vivo pada 20 Februari – 20 Juni 2022 di CV Abadi Farm, Kabupaten Tegal dan Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Materi penelitian yaitu 16 ekor kambing Sapera betina dengan rataan bobot awal 40±2 kg, pakan basal sebanyak 3,25% BK/kg BB. Rancangan penelitian yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian meliputi R0 = pakan basal, R1 = R0 + rumensin 30 mg/kg BK, R2 = R0 + 250 ppm bawang putih, R3 = R2 + Mineral Organik (0,3 ppm Se+1,5 ppm Cr+40 ppm Zn-lysinate). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis variansi dan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi bawang putih (Allium sativum) dan mineral organik berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi bahan kering, konsumsi bahan organik, dan kecernaan bahan kering, sedangkan pada kecernaan bahan organik berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05). Nilai rataan konsumsi bahan kering berkisar antara 747,63±63,92 gram/ekor/hari sampai 997±77,20 gram/ekor/hari. Nilai rataan konsumsi bahan organik berkisar antara 667,8475±56,35 gram/ekor/hari sampai 896±69,73 gram/ekor/hari. Nilai rataan kecernaan bahan kering berkisar antara 66±7,48 gram/ekor/hari sampai 86,135±3,03 gram/ekor/hari. Nilai rataan kecernaan bahan organik berkisar antara 71±0,68 gram/ekor/hari sampai 87,345±3,03 gram/ekor/hari. Kesimpulan, suplementasi bawang putih (Allium sativum) dan mineral organik dalam pakan tidak meningkatkan konsumsi bahan kering dan bahan organik, tetapi dapat meningkatkan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik.

Inggris)The aim of this study was to examine the effect of supplementation of garlic (Allium sativum) and organic minerals (Cr, Se and Zn – Lysinate) on consumption and digestibility of dry matter and organic matter. The research was carried out in vivo on February 20 – June 20, 2022 at CV Abadi Farm, Tegal Regency and the Laboratory of Animal Feeding Sciences, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University. The research material was 16 female Sapera goats with an average initial weight of 40±2 kg, basal feed as much as 3,25% BK/kg BW. The research design was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The research treatments included R0 = basal feed, R1 = R0 + rumensin 30 mg/kg BK, R2 = R0 + 250 ppm garlic, R3 = R2 + Organic Minerals (0,3 ppm Se+1,5 ppm Cr+40 ppm Zn-lysinate). The data obtained were analyzed for variance and further test using the Honestly Significant Difference (BNJ) test. The results showed that supplementation of garlic (Allium sativum) and organic minerals had a very significant effect (P<0,01) on dry matter consumption, organic matter consumption, and dry matter digestibility, while organic matter digestibility had a significant effect (P<0,05). The average value of dry matter consumption ranged from 747,63±63,92 grams/head/day to 997±77,20 grams/head/day. The average value of organic matter consumption ranged from 667,8475±56,35 grams/head/day to 896±69,73 grams/head/day. The average value of dry matter digestibility ranged from 66±7,48 grams/head/day to 86,135±3,03 grams/head/day. The average value of organic matter digestibility ranged from 71±0,68 gram/head/day to 87,345±3,03 gram/head/day. In conclusion, supplementation of garlic (Allium sativum) and organic minerals in feed did not increase the consumption of dry matter and organic matter, but could increase the digestibility of dry matter and organic matter.
