| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kerapatan vegetasi mangrove berhubungan dengan kandungan fosfat (PO43-) dan nitrat (NO3¯) dalam sedimen. Senyawa tersebut dimanfaatkan langsung untuk metabolisme yang sangat penting bagi pertumbuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan fosfat dan nitrat pada sedimen permukaan, kerapatan mangrove dan hubungan kandungan fosfat dan nitrat dalam sedimen permukaan dengan kerapatan mangrove. Penelitian observasi ini menganalisis kandungan fosfat dan nitrat dalam sedimen permukaan, mengidentifikasi spesies mangrove dan menganalisis hubungan kandungan fosfat nitrat dalam sedimen permukaan dengan kerapatan mangrove. Stasion penelitian dibedakan berdasarkan dominasi spesies Rhizopora apiculate (st. 1), Nipa frutican (st. 2) dan Aviecnia marina (st.3). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai Desember 2021 di kawasan mangrove Segara Anakan, Tritih Kulon, Cilacap. Kandungan fosfat dan nitrat dianalisis menggunakan spektrofotometri di PT. Wahana, Semarang. Kandungan fosfat dalam sedimen diperoleh antara 19,90 sampai 21,88 mg/kg. Sedangkan kandungan nitrat diperoleh antara 26,02 sampai 35,57 mg/kg. Spesies mangrove yang hidup di kawasan Mangrove Segara Anakan Tritih kulon Cilacap diperoleh N. frutican, R. apiculata dan A. marina. R. mucronata. Kerapatan mangrove diperoleh semakin jauh dari daratan kerapatan mangrove -semakin rendah yaitu antara 666 sampai 1113 ind/ha. Hubungan fosfat dan nitrat terhadap kerapatan mangrove di kawasan mangrove Tritih Kulon Cilacap diperoleh hubungan yang kuat dan sangat kuat. Eksistensi vegetasi mangrove sangat didukung oleh kandungan fosfat dan nitrat yang selanjutnya berhubungan dengan keragaman biotik yang berasosiasi dengan kawasan mangrove. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The density of mangrove vegetation is related to the content of phosphate (PO43-) and nitrate (NO3¯) in the sediment. These compounds are used directly for metabolism which is very important for its growth. This study aims to determine the content of phosphate and nitrate in surface sediments, mangrove density and the relationship between phosphate and nitrate content in surface sediments with mangrove density. This observational study analyzed the phosphate and nitrate content in surface sediments, identified mangrove species and analyzed the relationship between phosphate nitrate content in surface sediments and mangrove density. The research stations were differentiated based on the dominance of Rhizopora apiculate (st. 1), Nipa frutican (st. 2) and Aviecnia marina (st.3) species. The research was conducted from September to December 2021 in the mangrove area of Segara Anakan, Tritih Kulon, Cilacap. Phosphate and nitrate content were analyzed using spectrophotometry at PT. Wahana, Semarang. The phosphate content in the sediment was found between 19.90 to 21.88 mg/kg. While the nitrate content was obtained between 26.02 to 35.57 mg/kg. Mangrove species that live in the Segara Anakan Mangrove area, Tritih Kulon, Cilacap, were obtained by N. frutican, R. apiculata and A. marina. R. mucronata. More distance from the mainland was obtained lower of the mangrove density. The mangrove density was found between 666 to 1113 ind/ha. The relationship of phosphate and nitrate to the density of mangroves in the Tritih Kulon Cilacap mangrove area obtained a strong and very strong relationship.
