| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Bawang merah merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran yang mempunyai arti penting bagi masyarakat karena memiliki berbagai manfaat. Produksi bawang merah belum mencukupi kebutuhan. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi bawang merah yaitu dengan ekstensifikasi lahan pada lahan pasir pantai. Penanganan budidaya di tanah pasir pantai yaitu dengan pengaplikasian bokashi dan dikombinasikan dengan pemberian pupuk N yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil bawang merah. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini antara lain mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi bokashi dan pupuk N terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah serta menentukan dosis bokashi dan pupuk N paling baik pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Metode penelitian berupa percobaan polibag di screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL) menggunakan alpha 0,05 dan 0,01 dengan dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama, dosis bokashi yang terdiri dari 0, 20, 40 ton.ha-1 dan faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk N yang terdiri dari 0, 75, 150, 225 kg.ha-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi bokashi dan pupuk N mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah.Kombinasi terbaik yaitu pada dosis bokashi 20 ton.ha-1 dengan dosis pupuk N 150 kg.ha-1 memiliki jumlah umbi terbanyak yaitu 6,83 umbi.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Shallots are one of the vegetable commodities that have important meaning for the community because it has various benefits. Onion production is not sufficient. One of the efforts to increase shallot production is by land extensification on coastal sandy land. Handling cultivation in coastal sandy soil is by applying bokashi and combined with the application of N fertilizer which is expected to increase the yield of shallots. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of bokashi and N fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallots and to determine the best dose of bokashi and N fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallots. The research method was a polybag experiment at the screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto using a completely randomized block design (CRBD) using alpha 0.05 and 0.01 with two factors and three replications. The first factor is the dose of bokashi which consists of 0, 20, 40 ton.ha-1 and the second factor is the dose of N fertilizer which consists of 0, 75, 150, 225 kg.ha-1. The results showed that the application of bokashi and N fertilizer was able to increase the growth and yield of shallots. The best combination was at a dose of bokashi 20 ton.ha-1 with a dose of N fertilizer at 150 kg.ha-1 had the highest number of bulbs, namely 6.83 bulbs. |
