| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Daging buah ketapang (Terminalia catappa L.) memiliki metabolit sekunder yang bermanfaat bagi wajah. Senyawa yang terdapat dalam daging buah ketapang merupakan zat aktif yang berpotensi sebagai antioksidan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat formulasi masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang, menentukan karakteristik masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang dan menentukan aktivitas antioksidan masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang dengan metode DPPH. Formulasi masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang dibuat dengan variasi konsentrasi 0,1, 0,3, 0,5, 0,7, 0,9, 3, 5, 7 dan 9%. Karakteristik sediaan masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang meliputi uji pH, stabilitas emulsi dan bobot jenis. Hasil uji organoleptik masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang menunjukkan masker gel yang paling disukai oleh panelis adalah masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang 9%. Nilai pH yang dihasilkan berada pada rentang 5,1-6,7. Nilai stabilitas emulsi berada pada rentang 12,824-29,250%, dan nilai bobot jenis berada pada rentang 0,86-1,05. Hasil uji mengering dan uji iritasi masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang menunjukkan sediaan masker gel formulasi padat mengering dengan baik pada rentang waktu 26-29 menit dan tidak menimbulkan reaksi pada kulit. Nilai IC50 yang didapatkan pada vitamin C, masker gel kontrol dan masker gel fraksi etil asetat ekstrak metanol daging buah ketapang 9% berturut-turut yaitu 7,9475, 15,789 dan 17,123 ppm. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Ketapang fruit meat (Terminalia catappa L.) has secondary metabolites that are beneficial to the face. The compounds contained in the flesh of ketapang fruit are active substances that have the potential to be antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to make a gel mask formulation of ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of ketapang fruit flesh, determine the characteristics of the gel mask of ethyl acetate fraction of ketapang fruit flesh and determine the antioxidant activity of gel masks of ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of ketapang fruit flesh with the DPPH method. Gel mask formulations of ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of ketapang fruit flesh are made with variations in concentrations of 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 3, 5, 7 and 9%. The characteristics of gel mask preparations of ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of ketapang fruit flesh include pH test, emulsion stability and specific weight. The results of the organoleptic test of the gel mask, the ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of ketapang fruit flesh, showed that the gel mask that was most liked by the panelists was the gel mask, the ethyl acetate fraction of the 9% methanol extract of the flesh of the fruit. The resulting pH value is in the range of 5.1-6.7. The emulsion stability value is in the range of 12.824-29.250%, and the type weight value is in the range of 0.86-1.05. The results of the drying test and the irritation test of the gel mask, the ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of ketapang fruit flesh, showed that the preparation of the solid formulation gel mask dried well in a span of 26-29 minutes and did not cause a reaction to the skin. The IC50 value obtained in vitamin C, control gel mask and gel mask ethyl acetate fraction of ketapang fruit flesh methanol extract is 9% respectively, namely 7.9475, 15.789 and 17.123 ppm. |
