Indonesia) | Penelitian “Pengaruh galur dan Suplemntasi Feed Additive terhadap pertumbuhan ayam Lokal periode awal sampai umur 12 minggu”. telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 Juli 2021- 13 Oktober 2021, bertempat di Experimental Farm, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dan di Desa Dukuhwaluh, Kecamatan Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh galur ayam kampung, suplementasi feed additive serta interaksi antara galur ayam dan suplementasi feed additive terhadap pertumbuhan absolut dan pertumbuhan relatif. Rancangan penelitian adalah RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) pola faktorial, terdapat 2 faktor yaitu faktor A (galur ayam) dan faktor B (Feed additive). Faktor A terdiri dari 3 jenis galur ayam kampung dan faktor B terdiri dari 4 feed additive yang berbeda, sehingga perlakuan yang diujicobakan ada 12 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Materi Materi penelitian menggunakan 3 jenis galur ayam lokal antara lain A1 (Ayam Kampung), A2 (Ayam KUB) dan A3 (Ayam Kedu) yang sudah dipelihara sebelumnya dari DOC masing-masing sebanyak 160 ekor sehingga total 480 ekor, pakan ayam periode awal sampai dengan pertumbuhan (complete feed), pakan basal, feed additive sebagai immunomodulator. Pakan yang digunakan adalah pakan basal dengan penambahan beberapa jenis feed additive terdiri dari B1 (pakan basal/kontrol), B2 (penambahan 1% tepung sambiloto), B3 (penambahan 1% tepung bawang putih), dan B4 (penambahan 1% tepung Kalimun). Peubah yang diukur meliputi pertumbuhan absolut dan relatif. Analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi (ANAVA).Hasil rataan pertumbuhan absolut yaitu 435,575 ± 21,639 gram/12 minggu sampai dengan 717,317 ± 68,029 gram/12 minggu. Hasil rataan laju percepatan pertumbuhan relatif yaitu 734,00% sampai dengan 1169,00%. Hasil analisis variansi (ANAVA) menunjukan bahwa interaksi antara galur ayam lokal dengan suplementasi feed additive berpengaruh tidak nyata (F hit < F 0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan absolut dan relatif. Galur ayam dan feed additife masing masing memberikan pengaruh yang nyata ( F hit > 0,01 ) terhadap pertumbuhan abolut dan relatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penambahan suplementasi feed additive dan interaksi antara galur ayam dengan berbagai macam feed additive masih belum efektif menaikan pertumbuhan absolut maupun relatif ayam kampung. Galur ayam Kedu mempunyai pertumbuhan absolut dan relatif yang paling baik dibandingkan dengan ayam kampung maupun ayam KUB. |

Inggris) | Research entitled "Effect of Lines and Feed Additive Supplementation on the growth of local chickens from the starting period to the age of 12 weeks". has been held on July 13, 2021 - October 13, 2021, at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Sudirman University and in Dukuhwaluh Village, Kembaran, Banyumas. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of local chicken lines, feed additive supplementation and the interaction between chicken lines and feed additive supplementation on absolute and relative growth. The research design was RAL (Completely Randomized Design) factorial pattern, there were 2 factors, namely factor A (chicken line) and factor B (Feed additive). Factor A consisted of 3 types of local chicken lines and factor B consisted of 4 different feed additives, so that the treatment that was tested were 12 treatments and 4 replications.The research material used 3 types of local chicken lines, including A1 (Kampung Chicken), A2 (KUB Chicken) and A3 (Kedu Chicken) which had been previously reared from DOC, each of which was 160 so that a total of 480 chickens, Chicken feed for the early period up to growth (complete feed) were basal feed, feed additive as an immunomodulator. The feed used is basal feed with the addition of several types of feed additives consisting of B1 (basal/control feed), B2 (1% sambiloto), B3 ( 1% garlic ), and B4 (1% Kalimun ). The measured variables include absolute and relative growth. Data analysis used analysis of variance (ANOVA).The average absolute growth were 435.575 ± 21.639 grams/12 weeks to 717,317 ± 68.029 grams/12 weeks. The average rate of relative growth acceleration are 734.00% to 1169.00%. The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the interaction between local chicken lines and feed additive supplementation had no significant effect (F hit < F 0.05) on absolute and relative growth. Chicken lines and feed additives each had a significant effect (F hit > 0.01) on absolute and relative growth. The conclusion of this research is that the addition of feed additive supplementation and the interaction between chicken lines and various feed additives is still not effective in increasing the absolute and relative growth of native chickens. The Kedu chicken strain had the best absolute and relative growth compared to native chickens and KUB chickens. |
