| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji kinerja produksi usaha peternakan ayam broiler menggunakan sistem closed house grade satu dan dua. Sasaran penelitian adalah 93 peternak ayam broiler, diantaranya 50 peternak menggunakan sistem closed house grade satu dan 43 menggunakan sistem closed house grade dua. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian meliputi: daya hidup, mortalitas, bobot badan ayam hidup, feed conversion ratio (FCR) dan indeks performance (IP). Model analisis yang digunakan adalah General Lineral Models (GLM), pola tersarang dengan kandang closed house sebagai grup dan umur panen sebagai sub grup serta jumlah peternak sebagai ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi (ANAVA), jika hasil menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata, analisis dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tipe kandang berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap daya hidup, mortalitas, bobot badan dan FCR. Tipe kandang berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap IP. Umur panen berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap daya hidup, mortalitas, FCR dan IP. Umur panen berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap bobot badan. Rataan daya hidup closed house grade satu dan dua yaitu 97,05% dan 96,77%. Rataan bobot badan closed house grade satu dan dua yaitu 2.140 g/ekor dan 2.044 g/ekor. Rataan FCR closed house grade satu dan dua yaitu 1,48 dan 1,50. Rataan IP closed house grade satu dan dua yaitu 440,17 dan 414,69. Penelitian dapat disimpulkan daya hidup, mortalitas, bobot badan, feed conversion ratio dan indeks performance pada closed house grade satu dan dua mempunyai kinerja produksi yang sama. Semakin lama umur panen, ayam menghasilkan bobot badan yang semakin tinggi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aimed to examine the performance of broiler farm production using a closed house system grades one and two. The research targets were 93 broiler farmers of which 50 were using the closed house system grade one and 43 using the closed house system grade two. The variables measured in the study included: viability, mortality, live chicken body weight, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and performance index (IP). The analytical model used is General Lineral Models (GLM), nested patterns with closed house cages as a group and harvest age as a subgroup, and the number of farmers as replicates. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), if the results showed a significant difference, the analysis was continued with the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT). The results showed that the type of cage had no significant effect (P>0.05) on survival, mortality, body weight, and FCR. The type of cage had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on IP. Harvest age had no significant effect (P>0.05) on viability, mortality, FCR, and IP. Harvest age had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on body weight. The average viability of closed house grades one and two was 97.05% and 96.77%. The average body weight of closed house grades one and two was 2,140 g/head and 2,044 g/head. The average FCR of closed house grades one and two was 1.48 and 1.50. The average IP of closed house grades one and two was 440.17 and 414.69. The study concluded that viability, mortality, body weight, feed conversion ratio, and performance index on closed house grades one and two had the same production performance. The longer the age of harvest, the chickens produce a higher body weight. |
