| Judul Artikel | Hubungan Temperature Humidity Index (THI) Terhadap Produksi dan Kualitas Susu Ternak Perah di Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Temperature Humidity Index (THI) yang di ukur dari suhu dan kelembaban udara terhadap produksi dan kualitas susu ternak perah di Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 12 hari di Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed Purwokerto, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Materi dan metode penelitian menggunakan 10 ekor ternak sapi Peranakan Friesian Holstein (PFH) dan 5 kambing Peranakan Ettawa (PE). Pengukuran suhu dan kelembaban udara menggunakan alat Thermo Hygrometer HTC-1 dengan pengamatan 6 kali/hari. Catatan produksi dan sampel susu diambil 2 kali/hari, pada pemerahan pagi dan sore hari, sampel susu diambil sebanyak 50ml/ekor. Sampel susu di analisis menggunakan Lactoscan Milk Analyzer di Laboratorium Produksi Ternak Perah Fapet Unsoed. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa lingkungan Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed berada dalam comfort zone bagi ternak perah dengan nilai Temperature Humidity Index (THI) 68,04 (<72). Pengaruh Temperature Humidity Index (THI) pada produksi susu sebesar 1,2% sapi perah dan 2,3% terhadap kambing perah. Temperature Humidity Index (THI) juga mempengaruhi kualitas susu ternak perah di Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed sebesar 6,3% (lemak), 0,05% (laktosa), 1,8% (total solid) (kualitas susu sapi) dan 2,3% (lemak), 20,1% (laktosa), 21,7%(total solid) (kualitas susu kambing). Kesimpulan nilai THI mempengaruhi produksi dan kualitas susu ternak perah Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed meskipun tidak menunjukan pengaruh yang kuat, karena terdapat banyak faktor lain yang berperan dalam mempengaruhi produksi ternak perah di Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed. |

Inggris) | The research have a purpose to describe the effect of Temperature Humidity Index (THI) which is measured from temperature and humidity on the production and quality of dairy animals at Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed. The research was conducted for 12 days at the Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The research material and methods used 10 of Friesian Holstein Crossbreed dairy cow and 5 of Ettawa Crossbreed dairy goats. Measurement of temperature and humidity using the HTC-1 Thermo Hygrometer tool with observation 6 times / day. Production records samples of milk were taken twice /day, in the morning and evening milking, milk samples were taken as much as 50ml/taken. Milk samples were analyzed using the Lactoscan Milk Analyzer at the Fapet Unsoed Dairy Production Laboratorium. The analysis method used is simple linear regression. The results of the analysis showed that the environment of Fapet Unsoed Experimental Farm was in a comfort zone for dairy animals with a Temperature Humidity Index (THI) value of 68,04 (<72). The effect of temperature humidity index (THI) on dairy milk production was 1,2% of dairy cows and 2,3% on dairy goats. Temperature Humidity Index (THI) also affects the quality of dairy animals at Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed by 6,3% (fat), 0,05% (lactose), 1,8% (total solid) (quality of dairy cow) and 2,3% (fat), 20,1% (lactose), 21,7% (total solid) (quality of dairy goat). Conslusion the THI value affects the milk production and quality of dairy animal at Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed although it does not show a strong influence, because there are many other factors that play a role in influencing the production of animal cattle at the Experimental Farm Fapet Unsoed. |
