| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi complete rumen modifier (CRM) terhadap persentase karkas dan lemak abdomen. Materi penelitian menggunakan 18 ekor domba jantan berumur 6-8 bulan, pakan yang digunakan yaitu jerami padi amoniasi dan konsentrat dengan perbandingan 40:60 dari bahan kering (BK). Konsentrat terdiri dari onggok 49,5%, dedak padi 33%, bungkil kedelai 16,5 %, dan mineral 1%, serta imbuhan pakan complete rumen modifier dengan susunan bahan daun mengkudu kering 30%, daun ketela rambat kering 30%, ampas teh kering 30%, Saccharomyces cerevisiae 3%, methionin 3% dan sulfur 4%. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu experimental menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) 3 perlakuan dan 6 kelompok yang berdasarkan bobot domba awal penelitian, perlakuan yang diuji P1 = Jerami padi amoniasi 40% + Konsentrat 60%, P2= P1 + CRM 1%, P3 = P1+ CRM 2%. Peubah yang diukur adalah persentase karkas dan lemak abdomen domba. Data yang didapat dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Rataan presentase karkas yang diperoleh P1 = 53,23±2,29, P2 = 57,61±2,70, P3 = 53,75±1,65; presentase lemak abdomen yang diperoleh P1 = 1,63±0,42, P2 = 1,64±0,54, P3 = 1,39±1,65. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian CRM 1,03% dalam pakan dapat meningkatkan persentase karkas, namun memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap lemak abdomen domba, meskipun demikian berdasarkan rataannya pemberian CRM 2% mempunyai kecenderungan menurunkan lemak abdomen domba. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aimed to examine the effect of complete rumen modifier supplementation on carcass and abdominal fat percentage. The research material used 18 sheep aged 6-8 months, the feed used was ammoniated rice straw and concentrate with a ratio of 40:60 from dry matter (DM). The concentrate consisted of 49.5% tapioca by-product, 33% rice bran, 16.5% soybean meal, 1% minerals, and complete rumen modifier feed additives with 30% noni leaf ingredients.30% sweet potato leaves, 30% tea dregs, 3% saccharomyces cerevisiae, 3% methionine, and 4% sulfur. The research method used is experimental using a randomized block design (RBD) 3 treatments and 6 groups based on the weight of the sheep at the beginning of the study, the treatments tested were P1 = 40% ammoniated rice straw + 60% concentrate, P2 = P1 + CRM 1%, P3 = P1+ CRM 2%. The variables measured were the percentage of lamb carcass and abdominal fat. The data obtained were analyzed using the analysis of variance. The average carcass percentage obtained was P1 = 53.23±2.29, P2 = 57.61±2.70, P3 = 53.75±1.65; the percentage of abdominal fat obtained was P1 = 1.63±0.42, P2 = 1.64±0.54, P3 = 1.39±1.65. The results of the study concluded that giving 1.03% CRM in feed could increase the carcass percentage, but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on sheep's abdominal fat, even though based on the average, 2% CRM tended to reduce sheep's abdominal fat. |
