| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pakan kambing yang disuplementasi Kromium (Cr) organik dengan level yang berbeda terhadap kecernaan protein kasar dan serat kasar. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Gunung Tugel, Green House dan Labolatorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah kambing Jawarandu sebanyak 16 ekor dengan bobot badan rataan yaitu 25,12 ± 3,44 kg. Pakan yang diberikan yaitu silase dan konsentrat dengan rasio perbandingan 30% : 70% yang disuplementasi mineral Kromium (Cr) organik dengan level 0,5 ppm, 1,0 ppm, 1,5 ppm. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental in vivo dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dan varibael yang diukur yaitu kecernaan protein kasar dan kecernaan serat kasar. Perlakuan yang diuji terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan, R0 (Pakan Basal yang meliputi silase rumput gajah 30% dan konsenstrat 70% (PK = 15,06% dan TDN = 66,74%), R1 (R0 + Mineral Kromium Organik (Cr) dengan Level 0,5 ppm), R2 (R0 + Mineral Kromium Organik (Cr) dengan Level 1,0 ppm) dan R3 (R0 + Mineral Kromium Organik (Cr) dengan Level 1,5 ppm). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Rataan kecernaan protein kasar yang diperoleh R0 = 83,05 ± 2,67%, R1 = 80,31 ± 3,68%, R2 = 83,96 ± 3,03 % dan R3 = 82,84 ± 2,00%; rataan kecernaan serat kasar adalah R0 = 59,47 ± 6,91 %, R1 = 57,95 ± 5,89%, R2 = 66,84 ± 5,15% dan R3 = 59,93 ± 7,83%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kecernaan protein kasar dan kecernaan serat kasar. Pemberian Kromium organik pada pakan kambing terhadap kecernaan protein kasar dan serat kasar cenderung lebih baik menggunakan level 1,0 ppm dengan hasil rataan kecernaan protein kasar sebesar 83,96 ± 3,03% dan kecernaan serat kasar sebesar 66,84 ± 5,15%. |

Inggris) | This study was conducted to determine Effect of goat feed with supplementation organic Chromium (Cr) with different levels on the digestibility of crude protein and digestibility of crude fiber. This study conducted in gunung tugel, green house and Feedstuff Laboratory Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Sudirman University, Purwokerto. The material were 16 Jawarandu goats with body average weight of 25.12 ± 3.44 kg and feed consisited silage and concentrate supplemented with organic Chromium (Cr) minerals with levels of 0.5 ppm, 1.0 ppm, 1.5 ppm. The research method was an experimental in vivo using a completely randomized design and the variables measured was an crude protein digestibility and crude fiber digestibility. The treatments tested consisted of 4 treatments and 4 replications, R0 (Basal Feed which included 30% silage and 70% concentrate there were (CP = 15.06% and TDN = 66.74%), R1 (R0 + Organic Chromium Mineral (Cr) with 0.5 ppm Level), R2 (R0 + Organic Chromium Mineral (Cr) with 1.0 ppm Level) and R3 (R0 + Organic Chromium (Cr) Mineral with 1.5 ppm Level). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The means of crude protein digestibility obtained was R0 = 83.05 ± 2.67%, R1 = 80.31 ± 3.68%, R2 = 83.96 ± 3.03% and R3 = 82.84 ± 2.00%; The means of digestibility of crude fiber was R0 = 59.47 ± 6.91 %, R1 = 57.95 ± 5.89 %, R2 = 66.84 ± 5.15% and R3 = 59.93 ± 7.83%. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the digestibility of crude protein and digestibility of crude fiber. The addition of organic chromium as goat feed to digestibility of crude protein and crude fiber tends to be better using a level of 1.0 ppm with an average digestibility of crude protein 83.96 ± 3.03% and crude fiber digestibility 66.84 ± 5.15%. |
