| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pakan kambing yang disuplementasi mineral kromium (Cr) organik dengan level berbeda. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan secara langsung di Gunung Tugel dan Labolatorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah kambing Jawarandu sebanyak 16 ekor dengan bobot badan rataan yaitu 25±3,44 Kg. Pakan yang diberikan yaitu silase dan konsentrat yang disuplementasi mineral Kromium (Cr) organik dengan level 0,5 ppm, 1 ppm, 1,5 ppm. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimental In vivo, varibael yang diukur yakni konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik pakan, menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diuji terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan, R0 (Pakan Basal yang meliputi konsenstrat 70 % dan silase rumput gajah 30 % (PK = 15,33% dan TDN = 69,144%), R1 (R0 + Mineral Kromium Organik (Cr) dengan Level 0,5 ppm), R2 (R0 + Mineral Kromium Organik (Cr) dengan Level 1,0 ppm) dan R3 (R0 + Mineral Kromium Organik (Cr) dengan Level 1,5 ppm). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Nilai konsumsi bahan kering dan bahan organik yang diperoleh R0 = 1006,30 ± 50,38 dan 482,76 ± 24,99 gram/ekor/hari; R1 = 898,68 ± 103,24 dan 431,71 ± 48,58 gram/ekor/hari; R2 = 1135,36 ± 139,53 dan 544,76 ± 66,70 gram/ekor/hari; R3 = 1003,82 ± 89,12 dan 482,28 ± 42,85 gram/ekor/hari. Nilai kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik yang diperoleh R0 = 74,23 ± 1,59 dan 73,86 ± 2,37 %; R1 = 70,76 ± 1,49 dan 70,95 ± 1,71 %; R2 = 76,77 ± 3,06 dan 77,05 ± 3,22%; R3 = 73,13 ± 3,03 dan 72,91 ± 2,74%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi, kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik pakan. Disimpulkan bahwa level penambahan suplementasi Kromium (Cr) Organik yang terbaik yaitu 1,17 ppm pada pakan kambing. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research was conducted to determine the effect of goat feed supplemented with organic chromium (Cr) minerals with different levels. This research conducted in Mount Tugel and the Laboratory of Animal Feedstuff, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Sudirman University, Purwokerto. The material used was 16 Jawarandu goats with an average body weight of 25±3.44 Kg. Feed given was silage and concentrates supplemented with organic chromium (Cr) minerals with levels of 0.5 ppm, 1.0 ppm, 1.5 ppm. The research method used was experimental In vivo, varibaels measured, namely the consumption and digestibility of dry matter and feed organic matter, using a complete random design (RAL). The treatment tested consisted of 4 treatments and 4 repeats, R0 (Basal Feed which includes 70% consenstrate and 30% elephant grass silage (CP = 15.33% and TDN = 69.144%), R1 (R0 + Organic Chromium Mineral (Cr) with a Level of 0.5 ppm), R2 (R0 + Organic Chromium Minerals (Cr) with a Level of 1.0 ppm) and R3 (R0 + Organic Chromium Minerals (Cr) with a Level of 1.5 ppm). The data were analyzed using a variance analysis. The consumption value of dry matter and organic matter obtained R0 = 1006.30 ± 50.38 and 482.76 ± 24.99 gram/tail/day; R1 = 898.68 ± 103.24 and 431.71 ± 48.58 gram/tail/day; R2 = 1135.36 ± 139.53 and 544.76 ± 66.70 gram/tail/day; R3 = 1003.82 ± 89.12 and 482.28 ± 42.85 gram/tail/day. The digestibility value of dry matter and organic matter obtained R0 = 74.23 ± 1.59 and 73.86 ± 2.37 %; R1 = 70.76 ± 1.49 and 70.95 ± 1.71 %; R2 = 76.77 ± 3.06 and 77.05 ± 3.22%; R3 = 73.13 ± 3.03 and 72.91 ± 2.74%. The results of the variance analysis showed that the treatment had a significant effect (P<0,05) on the consumption, digestibility of dry matter and feed organic matter. It is concluded that the best level of addition of Organic Chromium (Cr) supplementation is 1,17 ppm in goat feed. |
