| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Abstrak Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh SARS-CoV-2. Salah satu terapi yang digunakan untuk COVID-19 yaitu antivirus favipiravir. Penelitian terkait favipiravir di Indonesia masih terbatas dan terdapat kontroversi mengenai keefektifan favipiravir. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan favipiravir terhadap gejala klinis pasien COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan metode pengambilan data secara retrospektif. Data yang diambil merupakan data rekam medis pasien terkonfirmasi COVID-19 di RSUD Ajibarang periode Maret 2020 – Juli 2021. Analisis pengaruh penggunaan favipiravir terhadap gejala klinis diukur dengan melihat perbedaan gejala klinis sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan favipiravir menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan uji tanda (sign test). Total subjek penelitian yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi sebanyak 149 pasien terdiri atas 26 pasien COVID-19 derajat ringan, 64 pasien COVID-19 derajat sedang, dan 59 pasien COVID-19 derajat berat. Penggunaan favipiravir dimulai sejak bulan November 2020 dengan dosis 1600mg/12 jam/ oral dilanjutkan dengan dosis 600mg/12 jam/oral dengan lama penggunaan terbanyak selama 1-7 hari. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan favipiravir terhadap gejala klinis parameter suhu (P = 0,002), SpO2 (P = 0,002), batuk (P < 0,001), dan sesak nafas (P < 0,001) pada pasien dengan tingkat keparahan ringan. Pada kelompok pasien dengan tingkat keparahan sedang dan berat didapatkan hasil yang sama yaitu terdapat pengaruh penggunaan favipiravir terhadap gejala klinis parameter suhu (P < 0,001), respiratory rate ( P < 0,001), SpO2 (P < 0,001), batuk (P < 0,001), dan sesak nafas (P < 0,001). Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan favipiravir terhadap gejala klinis pasien COVID-19 di RSUD Ajibarang periode Maret 2020 – Juli 2021 di RSUD Ajibarang. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is a respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. One of the therapies used for COVID-19 is the antiviral favipiravir. Research on favipiravir in Indonesia is limited and there is controversy about the effectiveness of favipiravir. This study was conducted to determine the effect of using favipiravir on clinical symptoms of COVID-19 patients. This study is an observational study with a retrospective data collection method. The data taken are medical records of confirmed COVID-19 patient at Ajibarang Hospital for the period March 2020 – July 2021. Analysis of the effect of using favipiravir on clinical symptomps was measured by looking at differences in clinical symptomps before and after using favipiravir the Wilcoxon test and sign test. The total number of study subjects who met the inclusion criteria were 149 patients, consisting of 26 mild COVID-19 patients, 64 moderate COVID-19 patients, and 59 severe COVID-19 patients. The use of favipiravir began in November 2020 at a dose of 1600mg/12 hours/oral followed by a dose of 600mg/12 hours/oral with the longest duration of use for 1-7 days. The results of statistical tests showed that there was an effect of using favipiravir on clinical symptoms of temperature parameters (P = 0,002), SpO2 (P = 0,002), cough (P < 0,001), and shortness of breath (P < 0,001) in patients with mild severity. In the group of patients with moderate and severe severity, the same results were obtained, namely there was an effect of using favipiravir on clinical symptoms of temperature parameters (P < 0,001), respiratory rate (P < 0,001), SpO2 (P < 0,001), cough (P < 0,001), and shortness of breath (P < 0,001). There is an effect of using favipiravir on clinical symptoms of COVID-19 patients for the period March 2020-July 2021 at Ajibarang Hospital. |
