| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perguruan Tinggi memiliki peran penting untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Pada dasarnya setiap Perguruan Tinggi akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk meningkatkan mutu kelulusan para mahasiswa, baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas. Terdapat banyak jenjang pendidikan di Perguruan Tinggi, khusus dalam jenjang S1 (Strata 1), secara umum seorang mahasiswa dikatakan lulus tepat waktu apabila berhasil menempuh masa studi tidak lebih dari 4 tahun atau 48 bulan. Banyak faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi lama studi mahasiswa, baik dari faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang diduga dapat mempengaruhi lama studi mahasiswa tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap lama studi mahasiswa. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor tersebut adalah analisis survival melalui model regresi Cox proportional hazard. Analisis survival adalah metode analisis yang menghasilkan fungsi survival dan fungsi hazard dengan menggunakan data lamanya waktu. Satuan waktu tersebut dimulai dari suatu titik awal sampai dengan terjadinya suatu ‘kejadian’ atau titik akhir. Melalui estimasi parameter dalam prosedur pembentukan model regresi Cox proportional hazard diperoleh faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap lama studi mahasiswa adalah IPK. |

Basically, every university will make every effort to improve the quality of their graduates, both in quantity and quality. There are many levels of education in the university, especially in undergraduate level (S1, Tier 1), a student graduates on time if his study has been finished it in no more than 4 years or 48 months. There are many factors that affect the long study of student, the internal factor although the external factor. Based on the many factors that may affect the long study of the student, it is necessary to do research to find out what factors have a significant effect on the long study of student. One of method that can be used to find out these factors is survival analysis through Cox proportional hazard regression model. Survival analysis is an analytical method that produces a survival function and a hazard function using data for the length of time. The unit of time starts from a clear starting point until the occurrence of an 'event' or end point. Through parameter estimation in procedure of Cox proportional hazard regression model formulation, the factors that affect significantly on the long study of student are GPA. |
