| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pada era globalisasi ini, informasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting demi meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perspektif terhadap dunia luar atau lingkungan. Begitu juga halnya dengan informasi kesehatan sangat dibutuhkan agar kondisi kesehatan individu dapat dipertahankan. Webtoon Sekotengs merupakan salah satu webtoon yang memberikan informasi Kesehatan. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian berjudul “Kesenjangan Kepuasan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Fisip Unsoed Dalam Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi Kesehatan Pada Media Line Webtoon: Sekotengs (Sekumpulan Koas Gantengs)” bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesenjangan kepuasan yang diperoleh Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Fisip Unsoed dalam Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi Kesehatan pada Media Line Webtoon: Sekotengs (Sekumpulan Koas Gantengs). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metodologi survey dan menggunakan teori Uses and Gratification pengembangan dari Phillip Palmgreen dalam tahap analisis hasil penelitian. Pembuktian hipotesis dilakukan dengan pengukuran melalui kuisioner kepada 43 responden yang merupakan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Fisip Unsoed. Pada tahap analisis data dilakukan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata dan uji kesenjangan untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata Gratification Sought (GS) 37.86 < Gratification Obtain (GO) 40.37 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara Gratification Sought (GS) dan Gratification Obtain (GO) yang berarti terdapat kesenjangan kepuasaan mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Fisip Unsoed dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi kesehatan pada media line Webtoon Sekotengs. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan asumsi teori uses and gratification bahwa responden telah bersikap aktif dalam mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam penggunaan media. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | In this current era of globalization, information is highly important in order to develop knowledge and perspective on the outside world or the surroundings. Similarly, health information is required to maintain individual health conditions. The purpose of this research to discover the level of satisfaction obtained by Fisip Unsoed Communication Science students in Fulfilling Health Information Needs using Line Webtoon: Sekotengs (Sekumpulan Koas Gantengs) as a media. In the stage of research findings analysis, this study utilized quantitative methods with survey methodology, as well as Phillip Palmgreen's theory of uses and gratification development. The idea is assessed by administering surveys to 43 students from the Communication Science Fisip Unsoed. To test the hypothesis, two mean similarity tests and a gap test were performed during the data processing stage. The results of the study average value of Gratification Sought (GS) 37.86 < Gratification Obtain (GO) 40.37 showed that there was an average difference between Gratification Sought (GS) and Gratification Obtain (GO) which means that the satisfaction of Fisip Unsoed Communication Science students was fulfilled in meeting health information needs on the Sekotengs Webtoon line media. This study further supports the assumptions of the uses and gratification theory by demonstrating that respondents were engaged in obtaining information through the media. |
