| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tagetes erecta L. merupakan tanaman hias dengan mahkota bunga berwarna kuning sampai oranye. Tanaman ini merupakan salah satu tanaman hias yang potensial untuk dikembangkan karena banyak kegunaannya seperti digunakan dalam upacara keagamaan, sebagai bunga hias, bahan pewarna alami, dan agen hayati untuk penarik predator hama. Budidaya tanaman ini kian meningkat seiring dengan kebutuhan yang semakin tinggi. Kualitas tanaman T. erecta dapat ditingkatkan dengan pemberian Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT) seperti paklobutrazol dan GA3. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi paklobutrazol dan GA3 serta menentukan konsentrasi terbaik paklobutrazol dan GA3 terhadap pertumbuhan dan pembungaan T. erecta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 2 faktor dengan faktor pertama adalah pemberian paklobutrazol dan faktor keduua adalah pemberian GA3. Perlakuan pertama berupa 4 taraf konsentrasi paklobutrazol yaitu 0 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm, dan 300 ppm. Perlakuan kedua berupa 4 taraf konsentrasi GA3 yaitu 0 ppm, 150 ppm, 250 ppm, dan 350 ppm. Setiap kombinasi perlakukan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga didapatkan 48 unit percobaan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah akar, panjang akar, diameter batang, bobot basah tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, waktu muncul bunga, jumlah bunga, dan diameter bunga. Variabel yang diamati adalah variabel bebas berupa penambahan paklobutrazol dan GA3 dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda dan variabel terikat berupa pertumbuhan T. erecta. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Analisis ragam (ANOVA) dengan taraf uji 95% dan 99%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian paklobutrazol dan GA3 tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan pembungaan T. erecta, namun paklobutrazol dengan konsentrasi 300 ppm memiliki kecenderungan dalam penghambatan tinggi tanaman, menaikkan bobot basah, dan meningkatkan jumlah bunga, sedangkan GA3 dengan konsentrasi 250 ppm memiliki kecenderungan dalam meningkatkan penebalan diameter batang, mempercepat waktu muncul bunga, dan meningkatkan jumlah akar. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Tagetes erecta L. is an ornamental plant with yellow to orange flower crowns. This plant is one of the ornamental plants that have the potential to be developed because of its many uses such as being used in religious ceremonies, as ornamental flowers, as natural dyes, and as biological agents to attract predators of pests. The cultivation of this plant is increasing along with the higher demand. The quality of T. erecta plants can be improved by providing growth regulators (ZPT) such as paclobutrazol and GA3. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect of paclobutrazol and GA3 and to determine the best concentration of paclobutrazol and GA3 on the growth and flowering of T. erecta. This research was conducted with an experimental method using a 2-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the first factor being the administration of paclobutrazol and the second factor being the administration of GA3. The first treatment consisted of 4 levels of paclobutrazol concentration, namely 0 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm, and 300 ppm. The second treatment consisted of 4 levels of GA3 concentration, namely 0 ppm, 150 ppm, 250 ppm, and 350 ppm. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times so that 48 experimental units were obtained. Parameters observed were plant height, number of roots, root length, stem diameter, plant wet weight, plant dry weight, flower emergence time, number of flowers, and flowers diameter. The variables observed were the independent variables in the form of the addition of paclobutrazol and GA3 with different concentrations and the variable in the form of growth of T. erecta. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) with test levels of 95% and 99%. The results showed that the administration of paclobutrazol and GA3 had no effect on the growth and flowering of T. erecta, but paclobutrazol with a concentration of 300 ppm had a tendency to inhibit plant height, increase wet weight, and increase the number of flowers, while GA3 with a concentration of 250 ppm had a tendency to increase the thickness of the stem diameter, speeding up the time of flower emergence, and increasing the number of roots. |
