| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan penduduk, nilai rasio ketergantungan usia muda, serta angka harapan hidup terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara lower middle income ASEAN tahun 2006-2019. Penelitian ini mengambil judul: “Pengaruh Faktor Demografi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Negara Lower Middle Income ASEAN Tahun 2006-2019”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel dengan Random Effect Model (REM) yang menggabungkan data cross section dari negara Filipina, Indonesia, Kamboja, Laos, Myanmar, dan Vietnam dengan data time series periode tahun 2006-2019. Hasil analisis regresi yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Variabel pertumbuhan penduduk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara lower middle income ASEAN, (2) Variabel rasio ketergantungan usia muda berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara lower middle income ASEAN, (3) Variabel angka harapan hidup berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara lower middle income ASEAN. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of population growth, young age dependency ratio, and life expectancy on economic growth on ASEAN lower middle income countries in 2006-2019. This study takes the tittle: “The Effects of Demographic Factors on Economic Growth in ASEAN Lower Middle Income Countries in 2006-2019”. The method used in this study is panel data regression with Random Effect Model (REM) that combines cross section data from the Philippines, Indonesia, cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam with time series data along 2006-2019. Regression analysis showed that: (1) Population growth has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in ASEAN lower middle income countries, (2) Young age dependency ratio has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in ASEAN lower middle income countries, (3) Life expectancy has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in ASEAN lower middle income countries. |
