| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Riset ini membahas distribusi eksponensial dengan dua variabel atau distribusi bivariat. Cummulative distribution function (CDF) dan probability density function (PDF) distribusi bivariat eksponensial, direkonstruksi positive quadrant dependence. Selanjutnya CDF dan PDF dari distribusi bivariat eksponensial dipaparkan dan dilakukan analisis grafik. Dari PDF gabungan distribusi bivariat eksponensial berdasarkan fungsi karakteristik dependen, dihitung ekspetasi dan variansi bersyarat secara manual. Hasil riset menunjukan CDF dan PDF, serta ekspetasi dan variansi bersyarat memenuhi semua kaidah dari proses distribusi bivariat. Hasil analisis grafik menunjukan bahwa semakin besar nilai dari variabel acak x dan y maka nilai CDF gabungannya akan mendekati 1, sedangkan nilai PDF gabungannya mendekati 0, demikian juga perubahan nilai θ mempengaruhi hasil CDF dan PDF, dimana semaikin besar θ, maka kurva menurun. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research discussed the exponential distribution with two variables or bivariate distribution. The cummulative distribution function (CDF) and probability density function (PDF) bivariate exponential distribution, reconstructed positive quadrant dependence. Furthermore, the CDF and PDF of the bivariate exponential distribution were presented and a graphically analysis. The conditional expectation and conditional variance of the exponential bivariate distribution is then computed. The research show that CDF and PDF, as well as expectation and conditional variance meet the rules of the bivariate distribution process. The results of the graphic analysis show that the greater the value of the random variables x and y, the combined CDF value will approach 1, while the combined PDF value will approach 0, as changes θ of affecting the CDF and PDF results, where the larger θ , the lower the curve.
