Skripsi. Purwokerto: Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. Universitas Jenderal soedirman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks cerpen dengan menggunakan metode picture and picture pada siswa kelas IX G SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. Subjek penelitian ini, yaitu kelas IX G SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena masih rendahnya keterampilan menulis teks cerpen pada siswa kelas IX G SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Terdapat empat tahapan yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes dan teknik nontes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keterampilan menulis teks cerpen pada siswa kelas IX G SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto mengalami peningkatan dengan menggunakan metode picture and picture. Peningkatan keterampilan tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya hasil keterampilan menulis teks cerpen dan perubahan perilaku belajar siswa, yaitu siswa merasa lebih mudah, dan merasa lebih tertarik untuk membuat teks cerpen, dan dapat membuat pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan, serta menumbuhkan motivasi, dan minat siswa pada saat mengikuti proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks cerpen dapat dilihat dari beberapa tahap, siklus I yaitu 61,5% dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 65%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 85% dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks cerpen pada siswa kelas IX G SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. |

This study aims to improve the skills of writing short stories using the picture and picture method in class IX G students of SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. The subject of this research is class IX G SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto with 34 students. This research was conducted because of the low skills of writing short stories in class IX G SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). There are four stages, namely, planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The data collection technique used in this research is a test technique and a non-test technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative data analysis technique and qualitative descriptive technique. The results of this study indicate that the skills of writing short stories in class IX G students of SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto have increased by using the picture and picture method. The improvement of these skills can be proven by the results of short story writing skills and changes in student learning behavior, namely students find it easier, and feel more interested in making short stories, and can make learning more fun, and foster student motivation and interest at the same time. follow the learning process. The improvement of short story writing skills can be seen from several stages, the first cycle is 61.5% with a learning completeness percentage of 65%, in the second cycle it has increased to 85% with a 100% learning completeness percentage. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the picture and picture learning method can improve short story writing skills in class IX G students of SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. |
