Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh induksi gonadotropin releasing hormone terhadap laju kebuntingan berdasarkan metode yang berbeda pada Domba Batur. Materi penelitian menggunakan domba Batur betina yang tidak bunting sebanyak 20 ekor minimal paritas 2 dengan bobot badan yang relatif sama dan 9 ekor pejantan. Materi lainnya berupa peralatan dan bahan untuk perlakuan dan pengamatan laju kebuntingan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimental dengan perlakuan P1 = Kontrol yaitu double injeksi PGF2α (Dinoprost trometamol 5mg/ml) interval 11 hari dengan dosis 2 ml per ekor secara intramuskuler. P2 = Double injeksi PGF2α (Dinoprost trometamol 5 mg/ml) interval 11 hari ditambah gonadotropin releasing hormone (Gonadorelin 0,1 mg/ml) pada hari ke-9 dengan dosis 1 ml per ekor secara intramuskuler. Variabel yang diteliti adalah laju kebuntingan domba Batur berdasarkan metode Non-return Rate (NRR) dan Reaksi Cubboni. Data diuji menggunakan chi square untuk persentase domba bunting. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode deteksi kebuntingan tidak berbeda nyata (P>0.05) terhadap laju kebuntingan domba Batur. Disimpulkan bahwa laju kebuntingan domba Batur berdasarkan metode Non-return Rate sebesar 80% relatif sama dengan metode Reaksi Cubboni sebesar 90%, namun secara numerik akurasi penentuan laju kebuntingan menggunakan metode reaksi cubboni lebih tinggi dibandingkan metode non return rate.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gonadotropin releasing hormone induction on pregnancy rate based on different methods in Batur Sheep. The research material used 20 female Batur sheep that were not pregnant at least parity 2 with relatively the same body weight and 9 males. Other materials include equipment and materials for the treatment and observation of pregnancy rates. The research method used was experimental with P1 = Control treatment, namely double injection of PGF2α (Dinoprost trometamol 5mg/ml) at 11-day intervals with a dose of 2 ml per animal intramuscularly. P2 = Double injection of PGF2α (Dinoprost trometamol 5 mg/ml) at 11 days interval plus gonadotropin releasing hormone (Gonadorelin 0.1 mg/ml) on day 9 with a dose of 1 ml per animal intramuscularly. The variables studied were the pregnancy rate of Batur sheep based on the Non-return Rate (NRR) method and the Cubboni reaction. The data were tested using chi square for the percentage of pregnant sheep. The results of the analysis showed that the pregnancy detection method was not significantly different (P>0.05) with the pregnancy rate of the Batur sheep. It was concluded that the pregnancy rate of Batur sheep based on the Non-return Rate method of 80% was relatively the same as the Cubboni Reaction method of 90%, but numerically the accuracy of determining pregnancy rate using the Cubboni reaction method was higher than the non-return rate method.
