Indonesia) | ABSTRAK HUBUNGAN ANTARA LITERASI KESEHATAN DENGAN MEKANISME KOPING PADA LANSIA DENGAN HIPERTENSI Nana Lia Safitri¹, Lita Heni Kusumawardani², Arif Imam Hidayat³ Latar Belakang : Umur pada lanjut usia yang semakin bertambah lebih berisiko mengalami hipertensi. Upaya lansia dalam menghadapi hipertensi membentuk mekanisme koping yang dipengaruhi oleh literasi kesehatan dalam memanajemen pengendalian hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara literasi kesehatan dengan mekanisme koping pada lansia dengan hipertensi. Metodologi : Jenis penelitian ini yaitu cross sectional dengan jumlah 126 lansia usia 60 tahun keatas dengan riwayat hipertensi. Uji analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji alternatif yaitu uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan responden lansia pada penelitian ini dengan rentang usia 60 sampai 86 tahun. Mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 81,0%. Latar belakang pendidikan tergolong rendah yaitu tidak sekolah/tidak tamat SD sebanyak 46,8% dan tamatan SD sebanyak 42,1%. Responden memiliki riwayat penyakit lain yaitu sebesar 93,7%. Kondisi ekonomi mayoritas reponden dan keluarganya berpendapatan rendah dengan jumlah ≤ Rp 1.970.000,00 sebanyak 88,1%. Mayoritas responden memiliki tekanan darah yang tidak terkontrol sebanyak 69%. Hasil pada uji korelasi terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dengan nilai p = 0,037 dengan nilai koefisien 0,186. Kesimpulan : Literasi kesehatan dengan mekanisme koping pada lansia dengan hipertensi terdapat hubungan yang bermakna, namun sangat lemah. Inggris) | ABSTRACT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HEALTH LITERACY AND COPING MECHANISMS IN THE ELDERLY WITH HYPERTENSION Nana Lia Safitri¹, Lita Heni Kusumawardani², Arif Imam Hidayat³ Background: Age in the elderly who are getting older are more at risk of developing hypertension. The efforts of the elderly in dealing with hypertension form a coping mechanism that is influenced by health literacy in managing hypertension control. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between health literacy and coping mechanisms in the elderly with hypertension. Methodology: This type of research is cross sectional with a total of 126 elderly people aged 60 years and over with a history of hypertension. The analysis test in this study used an alternative test, namely the Spearman Rank correlation test. Results: The results of this study indicate the elderly respondents in this study with an age range of 60 to 86 years. The majority are female as much as 81.0%. Educational background is classified as low, namely 46.8% of school/no elementary school graduates and 42.1% of elementary school graduates. Respondents have a history of other diseases that is equal to 93.7%. The economic condition of the majority of respondents and their families have low income with a total of Rp. 1,970,000.00 as much as 88.1%. The majority of respondents had uncontrolled blood pressure as much as 69%. The results of the correlation test have a significant relationship with p value = 0.037 with a coefficient value of 0.186. Conclusion: Health literacy with coping mechanisms in the elderly with hypertension has a significant, but very weak relationship.
