Indonesia) | Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kualitias Budi Budiman dan Yusuf Terhadap Perilaku Memilih Masyarakat Dalam Pemilihan walikota di Kecamatan Cihideung Kota Tasikmalaya Tahun 2017”. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bahwa persepsi atas kualitas seorang calon pemimpin dapat mempengaruhi pilihan seseorang saat pemilihan. Pilihan politik berdasarkan kualitas seorang calon lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan identitas partai dan berbagai faktor demografi seperti kesamaan daerah, agama, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, dan lain-lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh kualitas Budi Budiman dan Yusuf terhadap perilaku memilih masyarakat di Kecamatan Cihideung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan paradigm positivism. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel dari anggota populasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kriteria yang telah dipilih peneliti. Kriteria pemilihan sampel terbagi menjadi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Teknik pengambilan data di dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan kuesioner kepada responden yang sudah termasuk ke dalam kriteria. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistical package for the social science (SPSS) dengan metode uji validitas menggunakan analisis butir, uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik cronbach’s alpha. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 lebih kecil dari α (0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh kualitas kandidat terhadap perilaku memilih masyarakat dapat diterima. hal ini berarti bahwa perilaku memilih masyarakat pada pemilihan walikota tahun 2017 di Kecamatan Cihideung Kota Tasikmalaya dipengaruhi oleh kualitas kandidat. Besarnya pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh variabel kualitas kandidat terhadap perilaku memilih masyarakat berdasarkan uji rank spearman diperoleh nilai correlation coefficient sebesar 0,719, dengan demikian maka sebesar 71,9% perilaku memilih masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas kandidat dan 28,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. |

Inggris) | Abstract This research was entitled "The influence of Budiman Budiman and Joseph's quality of the behavior of choosing the community in the election of the Mayor in the Cihideung District of Tasikmalaya City in 2017". This research is motivated that perceptions of the quality of a prospective leader can influence someone's choice during the election. Political choices based on the quality of a candidate are more influential compared to party identity and various demographic factors such as regional, religious, sex, education, and others. The purpose of this study was to find out where Budiman's and Yusuf's quality influence on the behavior of choosing the community in Cihideung Subdistrict. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with the positivism paradigm. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling is a sampling technique of members of the population carried out using the criteria that the researchers have chosen. Sample selection criteria are divided into inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data retrieval technique in this study was conducted by giving a questionnaire to respondents who were included in the criteria. The technical data analysis used in this study uses statistical package for the social science (SPSS) with the validity test method using item analysis, reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha technique. The results of this study were obtained by the SIG value. 0,000 smaller than α (0.05), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus the hypothesis stating that the influence of the quality of candidates for the behavior of choosing communities is acceptable. This means that the behavior of choosing the community in the election of the Mayor of 2017 in the Cihideung District of Tasikmalaya City is influenced by the quality of candidates. The magnitude of the influence caused by the quality variables of the candidate for the behavior of choosing a community based on the Spearman rank test obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.719, thus the 71.9% of the behavior of choosing people was influenced by the quality of candidates and 28.1% was influenced by other factors that were not examined in this research |
