| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Imunitas tubuh sangat diperlukan untuk melawan berbagai penyakit, salah satunya dengan mengkonsumsi imunostimulan. Chlorella vulgaris mengandung provitamin A (β karoten), vitamin C, vitamin E, dan CGF potensial dimanfaatkan sebagai imunostimulan alami. C. vulgaris dapat diaplikasikan dalam bentuk tablet effervescent untuk meningkatkan penyerapan obat dan penyamaran rasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tablet effervescent C. vulgaris sebagai imunostimulan melalui pengujian kadar leukosit mencit (Mus musculus). Metode peneltitian secara eksperimental, rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan enam perlakuan dan masing-masing terdiri dari tiga ulangan. Mencit jantan umur delapan minggu, BB 20 ± 5 g diberi effervescent C. vulgaris selama 14 hari berturut-turut. Konsentrasi bubuk C. vulgaris Kontrol 0%, P1 7%, P2 15%, P3 30%, P4 35%, dan P5 50% diberikan sekali sehari. Dihitung jumlah leukosit mencit (Mus musculus). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian effervescent C. vulgaris dapat meningkatkan jumlah leukosit tetapi masih dalam batas normal (P <0.005). Peningkatan jumlah leukosit terbaik ditunjukkan oleh kelompok P3 (30% C. vulgaris) yaitu sebesar 6.500 ±2,188c (x103 sel/mm3 ) C. vulgaris tablet effervescent potensial sebagai imunostimulan |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The body's immunity is needed to fight various diseases, so it needs to be increased, one of which is by consuming immunostimulants. Chlorella vulgaris contains provitamin A (β-carotene), vitamin C, vitamin E, cell walls, and CGF, which are potential to be used as natural immunostimulants. C. vulgaris can be applied in the form of effervescent tablets to improve drug absorption and mask the taste. This study aims to determine the effect of giving C. vulgaris effervescent tablets as an immunostimulant through blood haematology testing of mice (Mus musculus). The research method was an experimental, completely randomized design (CRD) with six treatments, consisting of three replications. Eight-week-old male mice, 20 ± 5 g (weight), were given effervescent C. vulgaris for 14 consecutive days. The C. vulgaris control powder concentration was 0%, P1 7%, P2 15%, P3 30%, P4 35%, and P5 50% were administered once a day. The number of mice’s leukocytes was calculated. The results showed that the administration of effervescent C. vulgaris could increase the number of leukocytes but still within normal limits (P<0.05). The best increase in the number of leukocytes was shown by the P3 group (30% C. vulgaris), which was 6.500 ±2.188c (x103 cells/mm3). C. vulgaris effervescent tablet potential as immunostimulant |
