| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Komentar negatif akan fisik berpengaruh besar terhadap kepercayaan diri seseorang. Penelitian ini menganalisis perbandingan alur cerita melalui novel Imperfect karya Meira Anastasia dengan film Imperfect sutradara Ernest Prakasa. Rumusan masalah yang terdapat pada skripsi ini adalah bagaimana perbandingan alur antara novel Imperfect karya Meira Anastasia dengan film Imperfect sutradara Ernest Prakasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis perbandingan alur antara novel Imperfect karya Meira Anastasia dengan film Imperfect sutradara Ernest Prakasa. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi komparatif sastra bandingan. Hasil penelitian terdapat satu persamaan dan empat perbedaan tahapan alur cerita. Setelah dibandingkan, terjadi perubahan alur cerita yang mengakibatkan cerita dalam novel Imperfect dengan film Imperfect menjadi berbeda. Perubahan terjadi karena jika alur cerita pada film dibuat mengikuti alur cerita pada novel maka makna film tersebut menjadi sulit dimengerti oleh penonton. Perubahan dilakukan agar esensi cerita di dalam novel tersampaikan kepada penonton secara efektif. |

This research analyzes the storyline differences from the Imperfect novel written by Meira Anastasia with the movie version of Imperfect directed by Ernest Prakasa. The research question of this study is comparison between the Imperfect novel written by Meira Anastasia and the Imperfect movie directed by Ernest Prakasa. The aim of this research is to describe the comparison of the storyline between the Imperfect novel written by Meira Anastasia and the Imperfect movie directed by Ernest Prakasa. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and comparative study. The results confirm one similarity and four differences in the storyline. For the comparison, there are some changes in the storyline that make the story from the novel Imperfect and the movie Imperfect different. These changes occurred because if the storyline in the movie was made exactly the same as the novel, the message of the movie would become difficult for the audience to understand. These changes were made so that the essence of the novel’s storyline could be effectively delivered to the audience. |
