| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif pada perusahaan property dan real estate yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2016-2020. Penelitian ini mengambil judul: “Analisis Pengaruh Rasio Keuangan terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba (Studi terhadap Perusahaan Property dan Real Estate yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2016-2020)”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio keuangan terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan property dan real estate yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2016-2020. Jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 33 perusahaan dan 165 data penelitian. Purposive sampling method digunakan dalam penentuan sampel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dengan menggunakan SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ROE berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, (2) CR berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, (3) DER berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, dan (4) TATO berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Implikasi dari kesimpulan di atas yaitu hasil penelitian sejalan dengan teori sinyal dan ROE merupakan salah satu alat untuk memprediksi pertumbuhan laba. Investor sebaiknya menjadikan ROE sebagai sinyal positif dalam menentukan kenaikan dan penurunan laba di periode mendatang dan menjadi salah satu dasar dalam berinvestasi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is a quantitative study on property and real estate companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. This study takes the title: "Analysis of the Effect of Financial Ratios on Profit Growth (Study of Property and Real Estate Companies listed on the IDX for the period 2016-2020)". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial ratios on profit growth. The population in this study are property and real estate companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. The number of samples taken in this study were 33 companies and 165 research data. Purposive sampling method was used in determining the sample. Based on the results of research and data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) shows that: (1) ROE has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, (2) CR has a negative and insignificant effect on profit growth, (3) DER has a positive effect and not significant to profit growth, and (4) TATO has a negative and insignificant effect on profit growth. The implication of the conclusion above is that the research results are in line with signal theory and ROE is one of the tools to predict profit growth. Investors should take ROE as a positive signal in determining the increase and decrease in profits in the coming period and become one of the bases for investing. |
