| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui komposisi media dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (POC) yang tepat untuk budidaya tanaman sawi. Penelitian dilaksanakan sejak bulan Februari hingga April 2012, di screen house Fakultas Pertanian, Unsoed, Purwokerto.Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok lengkap dengan dua faktor yang dicoba. Faktor pertama yaitu komposisi media tanam (M) terdiri atas M1 = pasir : arang sekam (1:1), M2 = pasir : arang sekam (1:2), dan M3= pasir : arang sekam (2:1). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pupuk (K) terdiri atas K0 = tanpa pupuk, K1 = 2ml/l, K2 = 4ml/l dan K3 = 6ml/l. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F 5% dan apabila berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan DMRT dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan komposisi media tanam berpengaruh nyata pada variabel bobot basah tanaman, bobot kering tanaman dan volume akar, variabel tinggi tanaman dan bobot kering tanaman. Perlakuan konsentrasi POC berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua variabel yang diamati. Interaksi tidak memberikan hasil nyata pada semua variabel. Konsentrasi pupuk 4ml/l POC dan 6ml/l POC pada semua media merupakan kombinasi yang baik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is aimed to find out the media composition and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which is appropriate for mustard greens cultivation. The research was conducted since February to April 2012, at screen house in Agriculture Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The conception used is randomized complete bock design with two factors.The first factor is the plant media composition (M), consists of M1 = sand: rice husk (1:1), M2 = sand: rice husk (1:2), and M3= sand: rice husk (2:1). The second factor is the liquid organic fertilizer concentration (K), consists of K0 = without fertilizer, K1 = 2ml/l, K2 = 4ml/l and K3 = 6ml/l. The data are analyzed by using test F 5% and if it has real difference, it is continued by DMRT with the error degree 5%. The result of the research shows that the composition treatment of the plant media gives concrete influence to the variable of the plant wet weight, plant dry weight, the root volume, the plant height ,and the plant dry weight. The treatment of liquid organic fertilizer concentration influences all the variables which are observed. The interaction is not concrete on all the variables. The concentraction 4ml/l and 6ml/l on all plant media composition are the good combination for the growth and yield. |
